Popped in for a quick lunch. The fish and chips from the specials board were spot on, really fresh and crispy. The tartare sauce was a nice touch. Just what I needed.

Lovely tea room with so much character. The cakes and sandwiches were really tasty. The chairs were surprisingly comfortable for a place like this, which made a nice change. A very pleasant spot for a quiet afternoon.

The steak pie was fantastic, really generous portion. But the homemade lasagne was the highlight for me. You could tell it was fresh, packed with flavour and arrived piping hot. Just what you want from proper pub food.

Been coming here for years. The braised steak pie is always spot on, proper gravy and the chips are decent. Menu's got enough choice without being fussy. Staff are quick and know their regulars.

The portions are huge! We've done takeaway a few times and ate in once. The food's always piping hot and cooked just right. Perfect for sharing with mates when you're really hungry.

The bar staff were so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed chatting with them, they made us feel very well looked after.

Hugo Spritz was a great choice for a quick bite. Staff suggested it, spot on. Refreshing, hit the spot. Good wine list too. Quick service, in and out.

Grabbed a quick lunch here. The vegan sausage sourdough toastie was spot on. Came with a decent pile of crisps and salad too. Good portion for the price. Got me in and out fast, which is exactly what I needed.

Been coming here for years. The big windows are a big part of why I keep coming back. Just feels bright and relaxed every time, even on a grey day. A solid spot.

The chicken and paneer wrap was really good, a nice combo. Portions are decent for what you pay. Staff were helpful when I asked about the sauce.

The Veg Thali was a lovely way to sample everything. Such a generous portion though, almost too much for me! A nice, comforting spread.

Cozy spot with lovely candlelight. The staff were quick and professional, food was tasty and well-presented. A nice relaxed vibe for a quiet dinner.

The basement private room was ideal for our group of 20. Staff were attentive and the space felt secluded without being cramped. It was a nice, relaxed setup for the evening.

The food was really authentic and the atmosphere was lovely. But honestly, the portion sizes for the price were a bit smaller than I expected. Still tasty though.

The mussels in white wine sauce were fantastic, and the focaccia was so fresh. But that lamb shank with red wine sauce and mash? Unbelievable. The tortellini was the best I've had outside Italy, honestly.

Lovely traditional decor, felt like stepping into a welcoming home. The warmth was so inviting, just the right kind of cosy for a rainy evening. A really nice spot to unwind.

The quiet hum of conversation here is just right. Not too loud, you can actually hear your friends. And the occasional live music adds a lovely, gentle layer to the evening.

Decent food for the price. Classic, no-frills spot. The fish and chips portion was generous, though the chips were a bit soft for my liking. Solid choice for a straightforward meal.

Menu has a good variety, not just the usual Indian options. Good to have some different choices.

The chicken burger was really fresh, the patty was juicy and the bun was soft. The chips were crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The house red was a nice match. It’s a lively spot, even when packed.

Decent Sunday roast. Staff were helpful and made sweet potato fries off-menu, which was a nice touch. Good parking too.

Got the two meals for £7.99. My chicken and chips were hot and ready in minutes. For the price, you get a decent portion—fills you up and tastes alright. A solid option when you want something quick and cheap.

The cakes here are lovely! I tried the chocolate fudge slice and it was so rich and moist. The coffee was just right to go with it. Staff were super friendly too, made for a really nice afternoon.

The potato skins and feta salad were a real highlight. I enjoyed them with a glass of their house red, a nice, simple pairing that worked well. The other courses were solid, though the main was a bit rich for my taste.

A lovely, old-school spot. The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit feel very relaxed. My breakfast was cooked fresh and tasted just right. A nice, unpretentious place to sit and enjoy a meal.

The staff are so lovely here! Always quick to help, whether you're at the bar or using the app. Makes it a really easy spot to catch up with mates - you don't have to wait ages to order another drink.

A cosy little pub. The chicken platter was a real surprise – so pretty on the plate and cooked just right. Flavours were spot on. A proper treat.

Popped in for a quick coffee after browsing the market. The flat white was spot on, really smooth. It's a nice little spot to sit and watch the square.
