The vegetarian thali was fantastic, and the house red wine paired surprisingly well with the spiced lentils. A new go-to spot.

The Tandoori Butter Chicken was the standout. It's not overly sweet like some places do it, which I prefer. The chicken was tender and the sauce had a good depth of spice. Just focused on that one dish and it hit the spot.

The lunch menu's about a tenner. Good portion size for that. The lamb shank was the thing. Meat fell off the bone, gravy was rich. Came out quick, which was fine by me.

Dog friendly and the prawn sandwich was fantastic. Really comfortable bar stools for watching the world go by.

Walked in without a booking and got a table straight away. The staff were so friendly and relaxed, really made the evening.

Lovely spot for a quiet coffee. The sleepy jazz music is a nice touch, really adds to the cosy vibe. Perfect for just sitting and watching the street for a while. My latte was good, though it did cool down a bit quickly.

A lovely, relaxed evening. The staff were really attentive without being overbearing, which made all the difference. Food was good, and the atmosphere was just right for a quiet dinner. I appreciated how comfortable the booths were.

The owner and staff are so friendly. They remembered me from last week and offered a free portion of chips, which was a lovely touch. The chips were fresh and crispy, not greasy at all. I really appreciate when a place focuses on simple, good quality ingredients like that.

Been coming here for years. The breakfast is always spot on - generous portions, cooked just right. It’s that consistency I keep coming back for. A proper start to the day.

Nice classic pub vibe. The staff are friendly and efficient, service was quick. Food was pretty good too.

Been coming here for years, and the veggie breakfast flatbread is always spot on. It's the reason I keep coming back.

Lovely spot by the river, great for a sunny day drink. But the prices for a glass of wine were a bit steep for what you get. Still, the view of the cathedral is hard to beat.

Been coming here for years, and the breakfast is always spot on. Big portions, cooked just right. Exactly what you need before heading out into the Dales. It's the main reason I keep coming back.

Had our wedding reception here. The buffet was a real hit with our guests, everyone kept mentioning how much they enjoyed it. Staff were lovely throughout.

Been coming here for years. Their Sunday roast is always solid, and the price is fair. Tried the chilli sauce broccoli tempura this time – wasn't expecting much, but it was really good. A nice little surprise.

Been coming here for years, staff are always friendly and efficient. Got my usual takeaway today, ready in no time. They remember regulars, makes a difference.

The custom sauce they made for me was a really nice touch. I mentioned I couldn't have dairy, and the chef whipped something up. It made the pasta dish work perfectly for me. Really thoughtful service.

Stopped in for a quick bite. The pasta was simple but really fresh, tasted like proper home cooking. Staff were friendly and didn't rush us. Solid spot.

The coffee is always spot on here, properly hot and well-made. I like that the service is quick and efficient, too. It's a good spot for a reliable morning pick-me-up.

Love the vibe here! Perfect spot to catch up with friends over a pint. The beer was spot on and the place has a nice, cosy feel.

The gluten-free pizza base was surprisingly good. They had a decent wine selection to go with it, which was a nice touch.

Lovely Sunday lunch spot. Cozy and laid-back, just what I needed. Had tea by the fire afterwards, watching the cathedral through the window. A really peaceful moment.

Popped in without a reservation and they squeezed us in. The lamb rump was spot on. Their wine list had a decent Malbec that really stood up to the richness of the meat. The Thai curry was flavourful, though a touch more heat would've been nice for me.

Stopped by for breakfast. Good view of the viaduct, which was a plus. Food was hot and well-prepared. Appreciate that they're dog-friendly, makes it convenient.

Been coming here for gigs for years. The seats are comfy, you can always see the stage clearly. Parking's a doddle and the drinks aren't a rip-off. It's just a reliable spot for a night out.

Staff were really helpful with our big group and dietary needs, even on a busy Saturday.

The bagel sandwich was the star - the salmon was so fresh and the cream cheese had a lovely hint of dill. The space is tiny, but the music was a great vibe. Just wish there was a bit more room to sit!

Service was polite and efficient. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, which made for a relaxed business lunch. They handled a last-minute change to our order smoothly. Good for a quick, professional meal.

Managed to get a table on a busy Saturday night, which was a relief. The calzone and chips were good for the price.

Came with a group to try their tapas. The patatas bravas were spot on - crispy outside, fluffy inside. The gambas al ajillo had a nice garlic kick. Good for sharing, plates came out at a decent pace. Service was attentive without hovering.
