The German draught lager was spot on, really crisp and cold. I was impressed by their cocktail list too. Tried the Bloody Mary &ndash; perfectly balanced, not too spicy, with a nice kick from the vodka. Just what I needed.

Afternoon tea. Proper three-tier stand. Sandwiches were fine. Scone was warm. Strawberry tart and the chocolate gateau were the highlight. Staff were friendly, especially Dana and Sherry. Made it feel relaxed.
