The horse meat stew was proper comfort food, really tender. Quiche surprised me too, fresh and not too heavy. Dark pub vibe inside, felt very local.

Stopped here after a long hike and the chocolate pie really hit the spot. Had a German Hefe beer with it, nice combo. Outdoor seating is lovely, especially in good weather. Staff were friendly, no complaints there. Just wish I had more time to sit around, but it was a solid break overall.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and had the owner's recommendation. Pretty good — you can tell they put some care into it. Place is small but has a homey feel. Service was quick, which I appreciated. Maybe not a destination spot, but decent if you're in the area.

The pistachio croissant was still warm, flaky, and the filling actually tasted like real pistachio. Coffee was solid too, not burnt. Didn't pay much attention to the whole old church thing, but the pastry alone is why I'd come back. Maybe slightly pricey for the size, but the flavor made up for it.

Friendly staff, decent food. Solid spot if you just need a quick bite or coffee in town. Nothing fancy but it does the job.

The chocolate raspberry cake was the highlight — really rich, not too sweet. Nice spot right in the old town, though it got a bit busy later in the afternoon.

Been here maybe four times now. Food's always solid, especially the schnitzel. Prices are fair for what you get, place has a nice relaxed vibe. Service was a bit slow last visit but nothing crazy. I'll keep coming back when I'm in the area.

The breakfast buffet runs until 1 pm, which basically makes it brunch. That alone sold me. Paid a fair price for what you get, and the staff kept the plates topped up without hovering. Solid choice if you're not an early riser and want to get your money's worth.

The breakfast menu here is pretty big, lots of veggie and vegan options which is nice. Food quality is solid and portions are generous. Modern look inside but feels a bit cold, not super cozy. I'd book a table before coming, it gets busy. Decent spot for a proper breakfast.

Coffee’s solid, pastries are decent too. It’s a chain so nothing special, but you know what you’re getting. Fine for a quick stop.

Been coming here for years and the Kirsch Baiser never disappoints. Lemon Baiser is solid too. Still my go-to spot for cake in Aachen.

The interior is nice and the terrace is lovely. Egg Royale was decent, coffee pretty good too. Fine spot to sit for a while.

The food was really tasty and the staff were friendly. We sat near the window, which was nice. Service was quick too, so we didn't have to wait long. A good place for a simple dinner if you're in the old town area. Prices seemed fair for what we got.

The cakes were fresh, the breakfast solid. Service friendly enough. Place gets busy, so expect a short wait. Nice to sit in an old building though.

The Brussels waffles with hot cherries and vanilla ice cream were really good. Nice and crispy outside, soft inside. Wish the ice cream scoop was a bit bigger for the price, but I'd still get it again.

Came here after the French Open final, mostly to get out of the rain. The toastie was actually decent—cheese pulled properly, bread crispy. Coffee did the job too. Place was packed but that added to the vibe. Paid €14 for the toastie and a cappuccino, which felt fair for the area. Wouldn't mind coming back on a quieter day though.

The chocolate mousse with my coffee was the real highlight—so rich and silky. Cozy little spot, easy to just sit and chill for a bit. Wish the mousse portion was bigger though, finished it way too fast.

Solid coffee and dessert spot. Hot chocolate was rich, cake tasty. Place gets busy so you might wait a bit, but it's worth it.

The owner was really accommodating—she adjusted our dishes to what we wanted without making a fuss. Place has a nice floral touch, nothing overdone. Felt quite at home, honestly. Pretty good for a casual meal.

Dropped by for a slice and ended up staring at the counter for a good five minutes. The cakes look almost too good to eat. Tried one with a flavor combo I hadn't seen before. Really tasty, not overly sweet. Price is a bit steep for a daily thing, but for a treat, sure. Place was pretty quiet in the afternoon.

Stumbled on this place while looking for a coffee refill and ended up staying way longer than planned. The cycling theme is actually cool, not just for show. Staff knew their stuff when I asked about the espresso blend. There's a Japanese comic book on the shelf that my friend grabbed immediately. Coffee was solid, though the seating is a bit cramped.

The concept is nice, food’s generally good. But service is hit or miss—pointed out the butter expired tomorrow, waitress just shrugged. Meh.

Great beer selection, tried the Kwaremont and Korenwolf. Terrace is perfect for watching people go by in the village center.

Great selection of beans and they'll grind them right there for you. Picked up some Ethiopian single origin, smelled incredible. Good spot if you're into brewing at home.

Been coming here for years, still my favorite dessert place in Aachen. The chocolate cake with fruits is exactly what I keep ordering—never disappoints. Coffee's solid too. Cozy inside, service is quick. Only thing: card only works over 10€, so bring cash if you're just grabbing a small thing.

The apple strudel with vanilla sauce was warm and tasty. Upstairs seating gives you a nice view of the square, though the chairs felt a bit worn. Cozy old-fashioned vibe overall.

Stopped by for lunch, the loaded fries were spot on. Service was quick, no complaints there. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Nice spot for gifts—lots of local zero-waste stuff. Tea room in the back is a bonus. Prices are a bit steep though, so watch your budget.

Nice spot to grab a drink and chill. The wine list is decent, prices fair. Dog at the door was a nice touch. Good place to just sit and read for a while.

Stumbled onto this place by accident and ended up staying way longer than planned. The terrace looks right over the square, perfect for people-watching. Got a table outside and just chilled with a drink. Staff was friendly, didn't rush us at all. Bathroom was surprisingly clean too, which is always a plus in my book.
