First of all the staff were excellent and could not do enough. I was looked after by a tattoo lady and I have hardly ever seen someone work so hard as a waitress. The food was Thai and some dishes had a German influence and some were pure Thai. I had a section of both types and they were both excellent. Both times that I went, the restaurant was full which is a testimony to its excellence.

The pizza dough was good, but for the price I expected more on top. Pasta looked like the smarter order.

The food was decent, fresh ingredients for sure. Prices are a bit steep though. I had the grilled fish and it was pretty good, not overcooked. Place has a nice feel inside, nothing fancy but comfortable. Fine if you don't mind paying a little extra for the quality.

The set menu had some really fresh ingredients, especially the fish course. Wine pairing worked well too. Service was friendly without being pushy.

The fried feta here really hit the spot. Nice little Greek spot in Bochum, and the wine list had a few good options. Service was friendly too.

Gluten-free options are actually decent here. Staff asked about allergies before I even ordered, which I appreciated. Felt safe eating without worrying.

Steak was cooked properly and the gin list is solid. Place looks great inside, staff knew their stuff. Bit pricey for the area, but you get what you pay for.

The pizza dough was fantastic—soft, fluffy, just the right chew. Staff were friendly too. Only downside: we waited a bit since we didn't have a reservation. Place was packed, so that says something.

Dropped by for a quick lunch. Got the schnitzel, it was crispy and the meat was tender. Portion size was fair for the price. Place was a bit busy, but the staff kept it together. Nothing fancy, just solid food done right. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The bruschetta was fresh and simple, exactly what I wanted. Pizza rolls good too, but mains were a bit salty for me.

The pulled pork was actually the highlight—really juicy and smoky. The classic Bochum sausage was fine, just not as exciting. Staff were friendly enough. Place was a bit busy when I stopped by, but nothing crazy. Solid stop if you're in the area and want something quick.

We stopped by for a quick dinner and honestly the gluten-free burger was way better than I expected. My friend is vegan and she had options too, which is always a win. Staff was super nice about explaining the menu. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but fine for a casual hangout. 😊

The ravioli and tiramisu were better than a lot I've had in Italy. Tiramisu was light, not too sweet. Ravioli had a nice twist to it. Place was busy but worth it.

We sat near the window, and the chairs were actually comfortable, which I don’t take for granted anymore. The mixed appetizer platter for two was plenty—came with those warm pizza rolls, fresh from the oven. Service was friendly without hovering. Only tiny thing: we waited a bit between courses, but it wasn’t annoying. A nice, easy dinner.

The pizza crust was thin and crispy, just how I like it. Service was a bit rushed though, we were in and out pretty quickly.

Stayed here for a few days and it worked out really well. The room was clean, bed comfortable, that’s mostly what I care about. Staff came across genuinely friendly, not forced. Free parking helped a lot since we had a car. Public transport nearby too, so getting around was easy. Only small thing—walls a bit thin, heard hallway noise at night. But overall a solid stay.

Stopped by for dinner and had the pasta. Really solid, tasted fresh. Pizza looked good too, though the crust was more standard than wood-fired. Place has that warm wood-paneled vibe inside, pretty chill. Fine spot if you're in the area and want something simple.

The onion roast beef was cooked just right, and the sauerbraten didn't disappoint either. Portion sizes are decent for what you pay, which I always appreciate. Menu has a good range of Austrian classics, and the dessert rounded things off nicely. Place looks nice inside too, nothing over the top. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something hearty without breaking the bank.

Linn explained the menu really well. The southern Vietnamese dishes were tasty, spring rolls and chicken were spot on. Plantain dessert finished it off nicely.

Stopped here during a hike and it worked out well. Food was good, service quick enough. They take cards, which helped. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Solid pub food, nothing fancy. The pumpkin cream soup was really good, creamy and tasty. Portions are huge, almost too much for me.

The scrambled eggs with sucuk were a good portion for the price. Cappuccino was done right as well. Nice spot for a relaxed breakfast. Seats were comfortable enough to sit and take my time. Only thing was the service was a bit slow, but I wasn't in a rush.

Food was solid and came out fast. Staff friendly even with my broken German. Just wish the drink glasses were bigger, felt like refills every ten minutes.

We stopped by for a late lunch and got a table right away. Dorota and Andreea were friendly, checked in just enough without hovering. Food came out fast — I had the schnitzel, it was decent, crispy and not greasy. Portion was fine for the price. Nothing fancy, but solid. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

The sushi really is top-notch for Bochum—fish tasted properly fresh. Presentation was clean too. Good spot to bring a sushi newbie, though I wished their sake list had a couple more options.

The nacho burger really stood out — that cheese was something else. Cool music in the background too. Nice spot to hang out with friends.

Burgers are always solid here, fresh buns and decent meat. Fries are good too. Portion size is fair for what you pay. Nothing fancy, but it does the job when you don't feel like cooking.

The vitello tonnato was melt-in-your-mouth tender, pasta cooked just right. Service stayed friendly even when it got busy.

Service was sharp - waiter noticed we were on a schedule and made sure everything came out on time. Kids got a bit of extra attention too, which helped. Food did its job, nothing to complain about. For a quick family stop, that level of attentiveness makes the difference. Wouldn't mind coming back if we're in the area again.

The birch forest decor really got me—those tall white trunks made the whole place feel calm, almost like eating outside but without the wind. Veggie burger options were solid, plenty to pick from. Staff left me alone enough but checked in at the right moments. Just wish the lighting was a bit warmer, felt slightly clinical near the back. Still, a nice quiet spot.
