I highly recommend this restaurant for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our server Abbie was a standout, ensuring we had a wonderful evening.

Been here for the charity comedy night. The garden setup with the tiered seats and heaters was spot on. Owner’s a good host, made it feel like a proper local evening out.

Lovely old pub vibe. The staff were so friendly, really made us feel welcome.

Been coming here for a while now. The pasta is always spot on—fresh, al dente, and the sauce is just right. It's my go-to order every time.

The Wednesday carvery is a steal! The pork and beef were so flavourful, and the cauliflower cheese was a real highlight. Perfect for a midweek catch-up with mates - we all left stuffed for under a tenner.

The set menu portions were just right, and I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted.

The veggie moussaka here is solid. Good texture, not too heavy. The portion size is generous, you definitely won't leave hungry. Could use a touch more seasoning for my taste, but it's a decent plate of food.

The popcorn chicken was a nice change from fish. The batter was light and had a gentle spice. Portions are generous, and the staff were very friendly. It's a comfortable spot to have a relaxed meal.

A Gloucester classic. The cod and chips are spot on, a regular portion was just right for me. What really stood out was how comfortable the seating was, even during a busy lunch hour. Made for a very relaxed meal.

Ordered through the app, very efficient. Drinks arrived in under 5 minutes. The system works well for a quick business lunch. Food was decent, though the burger was a bit dry. Good for a no-fuss meal near the office.

Been coming here for years, and the portions are always generous. You get what you pay for, no skimping. It's one of the main reasons I keep coming back.

Food came out fast, staff were fine. Those self-serve drink machines took a minute to figure out – not the most intuitive. Ended up with a decent iced tea, but a proper wine list would've been nice.

Came by for a late lunch. The fish and chips portion was huge, honestly. Shared it with my friend and we still had leftovers to take home. Good for the price you pay.

The real ale selection is solid. Tried a couple of the darker ones on cask, both were in good condition and served at the right temperature. The outdoor area is shaded, which is nice.

The peri-peri chicken was well-cooked and flavourful. Sides were fresh. It's a solid meal for the price. Service was efficient, got my order quickly. Convenient spot for a quick business lunch.

The curry selection is solid, but what really stood out were the naans. They arrived piping hot, incredibly soft and fluffy – perfect for scooping up the sauce. The chapatis were good too. Service was quick and friendly.

Service is consistently efficient and attentive. Staff are friendly without being intrusive, which I appreciate during a business lunch. Dog-friendly policy is a plus, with water bowls readily available. Food is reliably good. Solid spot for a convenient, no-fuss meal.

Service was so warm and attentive. Michael, the owner, remembered I'd been before and asked how my trip was. Little things like that make a place feel special.

I grab my daily coffee here, the subscription makes it a no-brainer. Staff are quick even at lunch. The espresso is robust, pairs nicely with a simple pastry.

Lovely Sunday lunch. The roast was just right, not too dry. They were so kind with the kids, didn’t rush us at all. Felt relaxed.

We stopped by for dinner over the weekend. The lamb curry was really good, flavourful and tender. Service was friendly, though the wait for our mains was a little long. A solid spot for Indian food.

The three-course menu was the move. The lamb shank was cooked for hours, fell right off the bone. The jus was rich, not too salty. Could have used a bit more of that mash though.
