The afternoon tea in the Cellar was lovely. Anna and her team were very attentive. I particularly appreciated the freshness of the ingredients, especially the cucumber sandwiches and the scones. Everything felt light and thoughtfully prepared.

Perfect for a quick breakfast. Grabbed the full English, came out fast. Toasties looked good too. Just what I needed.

Lovely little cafe, perfect for a sunny day. We grabbed one of the outdoor booths and it was just the spot for a long catch-up with friends. The staff were so nice, really made us feel welcome.

The chicken biryani and rolls were perfect for our girls' night in! The guy at the counter was super friendly too.

The staff were so helpful with my gluten-free request. They really knew their stuff and made me feel looked after. A nice touch!

Been coming here for years. The homemade chips are the real deal - crispy outside, fluffy inside. Prices are fair for the area. It's just a reliable spot for a quick lunch.

The pager system is pretty handy. Grabbed a coffee next door while waiting, didn't have to just stand around. Made the wait feel shorter.

Loved the King Prawn Exotic! Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends since it's BYOB.

The £35 set menu was a nice surprise. The duck was cooked just right, and the raspberry cheesecake was a lovely finish. Staff were really friendly, too.

Stopped in after seeing some pretty steep prices down the street. The food was fresh and hot, portion was just right for me. Latte was spot on. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Popped in for lunch with mates and ended up staying a few hours. The vibe was spot on. Service was really good, no rush at all. And that lemon cheesecake? Honestly the best bit.

Loved the window seat for people-watching. Breakfast was quick and the ingredients felt fresh.

Such a lovely spot to bring the dog! The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel right at home. My spaniel got plenty of pats and a water bowl. Just a really nice, relaxed vibe for a casual pint.

Service was on point even on New Year's Eve. Place was packed but they kept things moving. Got my order in and out quickly. Perfect for a quick bite when you're in a rush.

The fish dishes were all so flavourful. Each one had its own distinct character, and they were cooked just right. A really lovely meal.

Came for dinner, service was prompt and efficient. Went back for Sunday lunch, solid choice. Good to see they’re dog-friendly.

Lovely little cafe inside a quirky shop. The teacakes are the star - the butter and jam are just spot on. Staff are very friendly, which makes the whole visit feel relaxed and easy. A nice spot to pause for a bit.

The oxtail was tasty and the chips were great, but I was really impressed by how fresh the vegetables tasted. You can tell they use quality ingredients.

The staff were really helpful with my nut allergy, talked me through the menu. They suggested a nice glass of red that went perfectly with the steak. Just a note, they don't take card tips, so have some cash handy.

The wine list is short but solid. Had a decent Malbec with the steak, it paired well. Good selection for the price point, covers the basics without being overwhelming.

Decent takeaway from Shapla. The food was fresh and arrived quickly. Flavours were pretty good, and the price felt fair.

The coffee here is fantastic, and they have a great selection of wines by the glass too.

Been coming here for years, and the Drunken Monk is the reason. It’s just always spot on. I’ll pop in after work, grab a pint at the bar, and it’s exactly what I fancy. That reliable pint keeps me coming back.

Lovely spot for lunch, especially with the log fire going. The caponata was just right. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit very relaxing. A really comfortable place to unwind.

Came for the shawarma wrap and a pint. The wrap was cheap and honestly pretty tasty. The ales are a good deal too. The old building itself is nice to look at, but honestly it's the prices that keep me coming back.

As a real ale fan, the cask selection here really stood out. Tried a few 1/3 pints to sample different styles. The landlord knew his stuff and suggested a local bitter that was spot on. A proper pub for a proper pint.
