Been coming here for years. The Pink Guava French toast is consistently the best I've had. Always hits the spot.

Happy hour pupu steak was a steal at half off. Cooked just right, juicy and flavorful. Manager was super friendly too!

The line looked long but it moved fast! The self-service screens are super easy to use, which is great when you're with a group and everyone's trying to decide what to get.

Perfect for a quick coffee and croissant before hitting the beach with friends. So convenient if you're staying nearby!

Sat inside, but the patio looked nice. The live music was a chill vibe. Our server was really attentive and kind the whole time, which was great.

The mango sticky rice was good. Happy hour prices are reasonable.

The Loco Moco was a solid choice. The patty was really juicy and the gravy was light, which I liked—it didn't overpower the egg or rice. A nice, comforting dish for a chill lunch.

Came in for lunch before 3 PM, so the price was better. Cooked the marinated kalbi and brisket myself, which was nice. The meat was solid, and the tofu soup hit the spot.

I had a fantastic time at this beachside restaurant! The Kahala Burger was cooked to perfection, and the fries were crispy and delicious. The ambiance is serene, making it a great place to unwind.

The guava juice here is thick and fresh, not watery at all. The three-egg omelet is huge and filling, packed with stuff. That's really all I care about. The menu is massive, covers breakfast and lunch.

The lunch special bento box is a solid deal. You get a lot of food for the price. The sashimi portion in mine was decent, and the tempura was crispy.

This place is a hidden gem in Waikiki! The cocktails were refreshing, and the seafood was incredibly fresh. Highly recommend asking for Sally K as your server.

Restaurant in Ka Laʻi Waikiki Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts

They made a custom roll for my friend's birthday! So fun to have something special just for us.

The view here is just incredible. We got a table right by the water and stayed through sunset. The live music kicked in as it got dark, and honestly, just listening to the waves with that soundtrack was the best part of the night. So chill.

Our server was so nice! She suggested the truffle fries and they were perfect for sharing with my friends. The vibe was fun and loud, which I actually liked for a casual hangout.

Tried the BBQ chicken pizza. Thin crust was spot on, crispy without being dry. The chicken had a good smoky flavor. Went with a side salad, which was fresh. Solid lunch spot.

The happy hour discount was a nice surprise. We tried the shabu shabu with the wagyu beef option. The broth was flavorful, the meat was good quality. Staff was quick to refill our water. A solid spot for a casual hot pot meal.

The curried turkey salad is my go-to lunch. The curry flavor is just right, not too heavy. The fruit crisp dessert was good, but the candied ginger on top was a bit strong for me. Nice, quiet spot in the garden.

The Zip Pac is solid, but the real star is the waterfront view with a cold beer.

Service is always friendly and attentive. They make you feel welcome right away.

The build-your-own burger is a solid choice. I went with a custom vegan version and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The cauliflower wings with herbs were a pretty good starter, though the portion was a bit small for the price.

Just got off the plane in Honolulu and needed ramen. Golden Pork hit the spot. The black garlic tsukemen had a deep, savory broth. Grilled mackerel was good too.

Coconut Kaua‘i Prawns were a solid quick bite. Lightly crispy and flavorful, plus allergy-friendly. Got my order fast.

The cinnamon aman and almond croissant are my go-tos. The pastries are always fresh, and the staff is so friendly. It's a nice, comfortable spot to sit and relax for a bit.

Tried the boba waffles. Original and chocolate chip options. Texture was solid, crisp outside and chewy inside. Good for a quick bite. Price is fair for the area.

Been coming here for years. The chicken korma is my go-to, always hits the spot. Malai kofta's good too. Biryani's not the traditional style I'm used to, but that's okay. Solid spot for the neighborhood.

Solid beer selection, lots of local stuff. Got a flight to try a few. The IPA was a standout, really crisp. The stout was a bit heavy for my taste, but that's just me. Good spot for a casual pint.

The Hideout at The Laylow offers a fantastic atmosphere with beautiful views and delicious food. The breakfast sandwich was a highlight, especially with the accommodating service from Sarah who made sure my order was just right.

The udon set lunch was a solid deal for the location. Really liked the clean, modern vibe of the place—it’s small but feels just right, especially being steps from the beach.

The Maui Wowie Melt was my pick, and it totally hit the spot. Really unique flavor combo. Perfect for grabbing a bite with friends when you're tired of the usual burger joint.
