Decent spot for a meal. Food was pretty good, nothing fancy but solid. Service friendly enough. Prices are a bit steep for what you get, and we waited a while for a table. If you're not in a rush, it's fine. I'd probably come back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for dinner last week. The half-timbered room looks really nice, fits the village vibe. Had the seasonal menu, pretty creative stuff. Portions are okay, not huge. Price is a bit steep for the area, but you can tell they put effort into the ingredients. Service was fine, friendly enough. Probably not a weekly spot for me, but good for a nicer evening out.

The grilled octopus was fresh and tender, exactly what I needed. Beer garden felt quiet and open.

The food’s consistently good, no question. But honestly, the portions feel a bit small for what you pay. I keep coming back though, so it’s doing something right.

We came here with a few friends on a random weeknight and honestly had such a chill time. The food was really tasty, especially the pasta. Staff were friendly too, not overly hovering. Free parking right outside is such a win. Only thing—I wish the menu had a few more authentic options. But yeah, solid spot for a casual catch-up 🙂

The fettuccine with scampi and chanterelles was the standout — creamy but not heavy, and the chanterelles actually tasted fresh. Cozy place, staff was friendly enough. Drinks came fast, food followed shortly after. Solid spot for a relaxed dinner.

Great spot for a Saturday dinner. Server was super attentive even with the place packed. Food looked lovely on the plate and prices felt fair.

Stopped by for dinner and was genuinely impressed by their wine list—nice range without being pretentious. They pour generously too, which I appreciate. Food held up its end, especially the pasta. Service stayed friendly even when the place got busy. Just wish they'd given us a bit more time between courses.

The venison goulash was decent but kinda pricey for what you get. My friend's pork tenderloin was good though. Service was quick, perfect for a casual catch-up.

Nice spot to refuel after a hike. Terrace had decent shade, service was quick. My wine was a bit warm but the price was fair for the area.

Service was solid—attentive but not hovering. Staff clearly knew what they were doing. Got us seated and sorted without any fuss.

Cozy little Spanish place. The papas arrugadas with mojo were spot on, Iberico ham too. Gets loud and busy, so book ahead. Service felt rushed but friendly enough.

Walked in without expecting much, place looks plain from outside but inside is cozy enough. Had the schnitzel, cooked proper, not greasy. Staff was chill, no rushing us. Solid spot if you want a simple dinner without fuss. Prices fair for what you get.

The pork knuckle was the real deal—crispy skin, tender inside, proper mustard on the side. That alone made the trip worth it. Place is tucked away a bit, but the food speaks for itself. I'd come back just for that dish.

Nice spot by the river. Horses and chickens just wandering around, kinda cool. Apartment was clean, had a dishwasher and coffee filters which was handy. Staff friendly enough. Nothing fancy but did the job.

Stopped by for breakfast and grabbed the Viking plate with smoked salmon — pretty solid choice. The room itself is a bit over the top with all the baroque decor, but that’s part of the charm. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

The aioli alone is worth the visit—still thinking about it days later. Tapas were solid, service friendly. Would go back just for that sauce.

Lovely little wine tavern with a cozy vibe. Staff was super friendly and helped us pick a nice regional wine. Perfect stop after a hike, even just for one glass 🍷

Came by on a Sunday evening, had the monkfish and the entrecote. Both were cooked just right. Place was pretty quiet, easy to get a table. Solid if you want a relaxed dinner without any fuss.

Used their catering for a big staff thing. Food was solid, no complaints. Communication before the event was easy, they got back quick. Everything showed up on time, which is honestly the main thing. Would use them again for sure.

Right by the station, so super easy to grab a bite before the train. Food was tasty and the price felt fair. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.

Good wine list. Staff actually knew their stuff, pointed me to a local bottle I'd never heard of. Solid spot for a chill evening.

The salad was really fresh, and the prices felt fair. Staff friendly, though the downstairs loo is a bit awkward.

The beer flight was a nice way to sample a few, and the pretzels were properly fresh. Service was quick, but the dining room felt a bit too bright for my taste.

Solid spot in Siegburg. Had the schnitzel, pretty decent. The covered courtyard is nice, quiet even when it's busy. Service was fine, nothing special but no complaints either. Prices fair for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for years now. The schnitzel's still got that proper crunch, not dry at all. Beer comes quick, which I appreciate. Place gets busy but the staff keeps it together. If you want real German food without tourist fuss, this is it.

Stayed here while exploring the Red Wine Trail. The view from the dining room alone is worth the drive up that steep, narrow access road. Had a decent local red with dinner—nothing fancy, but it paired well with the hearty food. Room was comfortable, though the road might test your nerves a bit.

Service has gotten better, that's for sure. Staff actually smiled this time, which was a nice change. The baked goods are still the reason I come back - got the sourdough and it was fresh out of the oven. Just wish they'd open a bit earlier on weekends. Took a while to get our coffee but the bread made up for it.

The American pan pizza here is seriously good—thick crust, loads of cheese, just the right amount of greasy. I went in not expecting much and left pretty impressed. Burgers looked solid too, though I didn't try one. Service was fast and friendly. Maybe a bit busy around lunch, but worth it for the pizza.

Schnitzel was huge. I ordered the small one and still couldn't finish it. Portions are generous, no doubt. Price matched the amount, so no complaints there. Food is solid, traditional German fare. Place was busy but service kept up fine. If you're hungry, this works.
