Lovely spot right on the Rhine, the old building gives it so much character. Breakfast was generous, though a bit pricey for what you get. Still, nice way to start the day.

The schnitzel here was properly crispy and the meat stayed juicy — not something you find everywhere. Currywurst was solid too. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger.

Came here with my family and honestly the food was the highlight. I ordered the schnitzel and it was crispy, juicy, exactly what I needed. Service was friendly too, though it got a bit busy later. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

Came for the coffee ceremony, ended up staying for lunch. The traditional brew was properly strong, just how I like it. Had one of the stews — well-seasoned, deep flavor. Place has a relaxed vibe, nothing fancy. Would've liked a bit more bread on the side, but that's me being picky.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying way longer than planned. The vibe is easygoing, perfect for just sitting with a paper or meeting someone. They've got a decent wine list too, which I didn't expect. My cappuccino was solid, though the service slowed down a bit when it got busy. Fine by me, no rush.

Been coming here for years when I'm passing through the station. The burgers are what you'd expect from McDonald's, nothing fancy. But honestly, the staff have always been friendly to me, even when it's packed. Place gets messy during rush hour, sure, but they keep up okay. It's reliable for a quick bite before catching my train.

Nice little spot to sit and watch people. Coffee was decent, oat milk available which is always a plus. Nothing fancy but does the job.

The cheesecake here is proper New York style—not too sweet, which I really liked. I had the classic and the blueberry, both were solid. The packaging being eco-friendly was a nice bonus. Seats were comfortable too, so I didn't mind staying a bit longer. Just wish they had a bit more space between tables, but that's minor.

We came in on a busy night and the owner’s daughter was running things solo. Honestly, service didn’t skip a beat. Food was solid, same as always. Cocktails too. Only thing—it’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I’d go back.

The takoyaki was the standout. Soft, hot, with real octopus chunks and a good tang from the sauce. The buta okonomiyaki came out sizzling, bonito flakes still moving. That smoky teppan smell hit right when it landed. Kid liked the takoyaki too. Nothing fancy, just solid Osaka-style street food done properly.

The pizza was loaded with toppings and the dough tasted fresh. Just wish it had a bit more salt. Decent for the price though.

Stopped by this little Sicilian place in Zündorf on a weekday. Family-run, you can tell. Had the pasta and honestly the portion was decent for the price. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The ice cream here is really decent—flavors are intense and the texture is spot on. I had the pistachio and it didn’t disappoint. Only downside: it’s very much grab-and-go, no real space to sit and take your time. Fine for a quick stop though. Probably the best scoop I’ve had in Cologne so far.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the momos were the highlight 😋 Butter tea was good too, though it’s an acquired taste. Place is calm, easy to chat for hours.

Been coming here for a while now, and the lemon croissant is still my go-to. Always fresh, always hits the spot. Carrot cake's solid too, not too sweet. Coffee does the job alongside. Place gets busy but that's fine, they keep it moving.

Came here on a random evening, no big expectations. The food was solid, especially the pasta—cooked just right. Service though, kinda all over the place. One waiter forgot part of our order, then another one fixed it. Took a while but whatever. Place has a nice buzz to it, not too loud. Would probably come back if I'm in the area.

The owner chatted with me for a bit—super friendly, not pushy. I had the salted caramel and spicy chocolate. Both were solid, especially the spicy one, it had a real kick. Place is small, a bit cramped, but that's fine for a quick stop. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Place has a nice, relaxed feel to it. Staff were friendly enough, didn’t have to wait long for a table. Got the schnitzel—pretty good, fresh and cooked right. Portion was big, almost too big for one. Fine for the price.

The Kölscher Milchkaffee here is exactly right. Creamy, strong enough, not too sweet. I've tried it at a few places around Cologne and this one just hits the spot every time. They sell beans too, took a bag home last week. Service is fine, but honestly I only care about that coffee.

Came here on a warm evening and grabbed a seat outside. Good mix of people, chill vibe. Food was okay, nothing crazy, but the setting did the heavy lifting. Service was a bit slow but I wasn't in a rush. Fine spot to just sit and let the evening pass.

Pasta was solid, pizza even better. Place has this chill two-floor setup, nothing fancy but comfortable. Staff were alright, not overly chatty but got the job done. Heads up though, kitchen shuts down at 9pm sharp. I almost missed it myself. Good enough for a casual bite if you're in the area and not running late.

We stopped by for dinner and shared the mixed platter for two. Lamb and chicken were both really tasty, portions were generous. Owner came over a couple times to check if everything was alright, which I appreciated. Place is small and cozy, nothing fancy. Only thing, it got a bit loud when it filled up. But for a casual meal, it worked fine.

Stopped by for a scoop last week. They got a ton of flavors, some you don't see everywhere. Tried the Dubei one, pretty creamy, kinda different. Nice spot if you're in the area and want something sweet. Place was a bit busy but fine.

Nice terrace for warm evenings. Drinks were solid, staff friendly enough. Menu's small but creative—got a free amuse-bouche which was a nice touch.

Coffee’s solid and the homemade cakes hit the spot. Gets pretty busy on weekends, so don’t expect quiet. No laptops inside, which actually keeps the vibe social. Good spot for a quick bite.

Service was genuinely friendly — they noticed us struggling with a group photo and offered to take it without us even asking. That kind of attention sticks with you. Space is modern and clean, plenty of room between tables, so you're not overhearing the next table's conversation. Easy to relax and take your time.
