The crepes were a bit too crispy for me, but the ice cream made up for it. Banana boat and drinks were solid. Cozy spot overall.

The koobideh was really soft and juicy, probably the best I've had in Germany. Torshi and mast-o-khiar tasted properly homemade too.

The build-your-own-bowl thing is pretty fun — pick your sauce and watch them stir-fry it fresh. Loads of veggie options too. Just wish the line moved a bit faster.

Lunch came fast, like 15 minutes, and the packaging was solid. The curry had plenty of veggies and was really filling. Portion size is generous, I even had leftovers for later.

The mixed grill platter was pretty good—three meats, all juicy and seasoned well. Green beans with bacon were a decent side.

The schnitzel was huge and crispy, exactly what I needed after a long day. Prices are a bit on the higher side for the portion, but honestly, it hit the spot. Place was busy even on a weekday, so maybe come early. I’d go back if I’m craving that again.

Stopped by for tea and a slice of cake. The tea menu is really interesting, lots of options I hadn't seen before. WiFi was solid too, which is always a plus. The cake was decent, though I wished the sponge was a bit fresher. Nice place to just sit and relax for a while, not too loud.

We stopped by for lunch and I had the unagi don. The eel was soft and the sauce wasn’t too sweet, which I liked. Portion size felt just right for a midday meal. Service was friendly without being pushy. The seating is a bit tight, but it’s fine if you’re not in a hurry. A solid spot for Japanese comfort food.

We were visiting Cologne for a city trip and looked for a brunch place to be with a friend. I am so happy The Fork recommended Frau Mahèr. The waiter and the Restaurant manager were absolutely a delight, the waiter had a great smile and spoke wonderful English. The food overall was delicious, I had the scrambled eggs with bacon and toast. Croissant and homemade jam and the pancakes. My partner had the Shakshouka. All of it delicious. And wonderful, highly recommend.

The cold soba was definitely the highlight for me. Noodles had that nice firm bite and the dipping sauce was rich without being too heavy. They bring you hot noodle water at the end to mix into the leftover sauce — that little touch felt so authentic. Would come back just for that. 🍜

Had the tonkatsu curry — hit the spot. Eel was solid too. Staff polite, but you get a short time slot if you walk in. Good to know.

The green curry had real heat, not that watered-down stuff. Portion was decent for the price, though I wished there was a bit more rice. Solid spot if you want actual Laotian spice.

Loved the vibe here — real Cantonese chatter in the background made it feel super authentic. Food was fresh and tasty, exactly what I wanted for a casual catch-up with friends. 😊

Loved the lobster soup and tuna tartare — both tasted super fresh. Staff actually gave good recommendations too. Just bring cash, they don’t take cards.

Solid Spanish spot with a decent wine list. Staff kept things moving even when it got busy. Just book ahead, place fills up quick.

Food came out quick, no complaints there. Portions were solid for the price. Staff helped with the menu since my German is rusty. Good spot for a fast lunch.

The veggie options were solid and portions generous. Interior had some cool decor pieces, worth checking out if you're in the area.

Lovely little courtyard, really shady and peaceful. Good cake selection too. Just remember to bring cash, they don't take cards.

The fish fillet sandwich was the highlight for me — that special sauce really made it. My daughter loved hers too, so that says something. We grabbed a quick lunch and it hit the spot. Maybe a bit busy around noon, but the food came fast enough.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. The Darjeeling was properly brewed, not bitter. Place has a nice relaxed vibe, furniture is comfy. Service was attentive without hovering. Only thing, it got a bit busy around noon, but that's probably a good sign. Solid spot if you're in the area and need a break.

The place is pretty spacious and the interior looks clean, modern. We sat near the window, that was nice. Only thing—when it got busier, it started feeling a bit warm inside. Not a huge deal, but I noticed it. Would probably come back on a quieter day though.

The beer garden is quaint and cozy, making it a lovely spot to unwind after a bike ride. The service is attentive and quick.

Stopped by for a couple of beers, staff was super patient with our broken German. Chill spot, felt comfortable right away.

Came here for New Year's breakfast and honestly the spread was so good. Homemade jams were the highlight for me, scrambled eggs were on point too. Place was pretty busy but we still got a table fast. Only thing is it's a bit pricey for breakfast but hey, it's New Year's. Would come back with friends for sure 😊

The salad was really fresh and the fish tasted clean, not heavy at all. They handled my gluten-free request without any fuss. Portion could be a bit bigger for the price, but I left satisfied.

The tablet ordering for the all-you-can-eat menu was easy enough, and the food came out fresh. Just a heads up—they don't take international cards, only local bank cards or cash.
