Came here with a few friends last week. The Matsu nigiri set was great - the fish slices were huge and super fresh! Rice had just the right amount of vinegar. A solid choice for a casual group dinner.

Convenient spot inside Mito Station's Ramen Kaido. No wait for a weekday lunch. The tonkotsu ramen broth was rich and the chashu tender. Service was efficient, got my order quickly. A solid, straightforward option for a station meal.

The Hitachi beef was really tender, good marbling without being too fatty. The ponzu sauce was a nice touch. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

The staff here really makes a difference. They kept our tea topped up without us asking, even during the busy lunch rush. Polite and attentive service like that is always appreciated.

Got here early and still waited 30 mins. The tuna bowl was impressive, loaded with different cuts. The fish bone soup was a nice, comforting broth.

Stopped by on a hot afternoon. The chilled tsukemen soup was rich but still refreshing. They give you extra rice for free, which was nice.

The sake list is really something. We tried a few different ones with our meal, and the staff had good suggestions for pairing. Good to see they also have a decent range of non-alcoholic options.

The daily snacks are solid, but the real star is their sake selection. A nice match for the small plates.

The buffalo wings are so good. The sauce has this tangy, spicy kick that just hits right. Great for sharing, though the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The handmade soba noodles are the thing here. The texture is firm, with a good chew. It's smooth but not soft. You can tell they're fresh.

Cozy retro spot. Miso ramen had that classic old-school flavor I like. Just a simple, solid bowl.

The ramen broth was rich and flavorful, noodles had a good bite. Ingredients tasted fresh. It's a cozy spot, staff were friendly. Prices felt fair for what you get. A solid, no-fuss meal.

I enjoyed the unique meaty texture of the hamburger, and the dessert was a delightful finish to the meal. Definitely a place to revisit!

The Shogun Coffee here is a must-try. The flavor is so rich and deep, really unique. Tried it hot and iced, both were great. Perfect for catching up with friends over a cup. ☕

Big portions. The rice bowl is really filling. They even give you free refills of rice and sauce. Good for when you're super hungry.

Had lunch here. The pickles were really good, crisp and tangy. The old hall's renovation is stylish, sure, but those pickles are the star for me. Wine was nice too.

Been coming here for years, and it’s still my go-to for a quiet solo lunch. The staff always make you feel welcome without being overbearing. Just a peaceful spot to unwind with a book.

Came for the breakfast buffet even though I'm not staying at the hotel. The space is really nice and bright, lots of natural light from the big windows. It's a relaxed spot to start the day. The roast beef and local veggie options were solid.

The Korean-style ramen had a nice medium spice level, just right for lunch. The Hitachi beef yakiniku was a good match with the rice.

I really enjoyed the soba inari. The broth had a nice balance, not too sweet. You could tell the tofu was freshly fried, it soaked up the flavor well. The soba inside was tender and neatly packed. A simple, satisfying dish.
