The pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce was spot on, €18 felt fair for the setting inside the Cloth Halls.

Steak and sole were done right, staff friendly without being pushy. Solid spot if you just want a dependable meal nearby.

Steak à l'envers was properly done — I’m not usually a steak person and I finished mine. Staff didn’t rush us when our French fell apart. Solid spot for a business dinner.

Great portions for the price, and the place was really clean. You can tell the owners actually care about their customers.

The decor alone keeps me coming back—feels like a Flemish grandma's living room. Food's solid too, rich sauces, meat cooked right. Never gets old.

Fantastic ! Great food, Very attentive staff very good value for money. Suitable for all diets, families or larger groups

Loved building my own pizza here - the dough was super fresh and the owner made it feel really laid-back. Good spot to come with friends, prices are easy on the wallet too. 🍕

Stopped by for a quick beer and ended up staying longer than planned. The owners actually chat with you, not just the usual small talk. Solid pick if you want local Belgian brews without the tourist trap vibe. Food was decent too, nothing fancy but hit the spot.

Been here a few times now, and it’s pretty consistent. Wine pour was decent, not stingy at all. Prices feel fair for the neighborhood. Sat near the window, comfy enough to just hang out for a while. Nothing mind-blowing, but it does the job when you want a relaxed evening without overthinking it.

Stopped by for a quick bite last week. Place is tucked in an old building, real charm to it. We just ordered a few starters to share and honestly, that was plenty. Portions are big, we couldn't even finish. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Decent spot if you're in the area and hungry.

The scampi was the reason I came and honestly it didn’t disappoint. Cooked just right, juicy, not rubbery at all. Chips were fine, nothing to write home about though. Place was busy for a Tuesday, had to wait a bit for the table but once we sat down, service picked up. Would go back for those scampi again.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and honestly the food was really good. The place itself is super cute too. Only thing is the service dragged a bit between courses, like we waited a while for the main. Still, I'd go back for the pasta alone. Good spot for a chill catch-up with friends. 😊

The beef cheeks were really good, tender and full of flavour. Terrace view over the meadows is lovely too. Just a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd still go back.

Naima was on her first shift and honestly she did great. We asked to switch tables and they handled it right away. Food was solid too.

Stopped by after the Last Post ceremony. Steak was cooked right, and the waffle with Nutella and cream hit the spot. Quick service too, which I appreciated.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Fries were solid, big portion for the price. Staff didn't fuss when I fumbled through my order. Place was clean, which is always a plus. Good spot if you're in the center and need something fast.

Decent spot near the centre of Ypres. Portions are generous and prices fair. Had the chicken curry and noodle soup, both pretty good. Nothing fancy, but fine for a casual meal. Maybe slightly busy at lunchtime, but that's about it.

The daily special got me — pesto pasta with Serrano ham, didn’t expect that combo to work so well. Apple and rhubarb crumble after, proper finish. Place was quiet, staff friendly. Nothing fancy, just a solid lunch.

Ended up eating here twice during a 4 night trip. Lovely food and staff. Portions sizes large and good value. All choices good but espescially nice were the steaks and peppercorn sauce delicious

Stopped by for a quick bite and went with the spaghetti bolognese. It was actually pretty good, sauce had a nice depth to it. Portion felt right for the price too. Nothing fancy, just a solid spot if you're in Ypres and want something easy.

Angus burger with the runny egg was spot on. Veggie tagliatelle was creamy but fresh. Fair prices for being right on the square. Staff were nice enough 👍

Nice spot in that old building they fixed up. Had the starters which were great, but a couple of the mains fell a bit flat. Still, decent place to grab a bite.

Pizza was solid, pasta too. Place had a good vibe, staff friendly enough. Bit pricey for what it is, but portions are big. Didn't leave hungry.

Stumbled in here to escape the square chaos. Got a filter coffee, house-roasted. Solid and smooth, no bitterness. Barista knew his stuff, answered a quick question without a lecture. Place is tiny, maybe five seats, but quiet. Good for a fast break. Price was fair for the area. Not a destination, but I'd swing by again if I'm nearby.

The sushi was fresh and the hot dishes came out properly warm, which I always appreciate. Service moved fast, though a couple of the staff seemed a bit cold when I asked for extra napkins. Not a big deal, but a warmer attitude would've made it better. Overall decent for a quick meal, I'd probably come back if I'm in the area again.

Loved that they had proper lactose-free options, not just one sad salad. Tapas were tasty and the staff actually knew what was in everything.

The pizza was solid—nice crispy crust, toppings fresh. Came out fast too. Honestly I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but my experience was totally fine. Servers were chill and friendly. Maybe I just got lucky, but I'd eat here again if I'm in the area.

The cheese plate was the highlight for sure. Tried a few wines and the guy actually knew what he was talking about, explained them without being pretentious. Music was decent too, not too loud to talk over. Place had a nice buzz to it. Wouldn't mind going back sometime.
