A calm, stylish cafe for a quiet break. The coffee was very good, but what stood out was the freshness of the ingredients in my avocado toast. The avocado was perfectly ripe and the bread tasted homemade. A really nice, simple focus on quality.

Been coming here for years. The grilled salmon set is my go-to, skin always crisp and the fish stays moist. Mackerel's good too, no fishy taste. Just a solid, simple breakfast in a nice old building.

Waited 30 mins for a counter seat by the roaster. Worth it just to watch the process. The duck itself was good, skin crispy, meat tender. A bit pricey for the portion though.

Came in for a quick lunch. The udon with beef and egg hit the spot. Broth was rich, noodles had that nice chew. Simple place, but that works for a casual meal.

The indoor garden is a lovely surprise, tucked away in a corner. It's small but feels peaceful, with some greenery and a few tables. The warabimochi was nice, but honestly, I just kept looking at the plants.

The 24-hour service is a real plus for travelers. I had a late dinner and the free refills of rice and tea were much appreciated. The food was decent, though the pickles were a bit too salty for my taste.

Been coming here for years, their earl grey scone is the real deal. Strong tea smell, crispy outside, soft and crumbly inside. It’s the one thing I always get. 👍

Love the retro diner vibe here. A great spot to sit and watch the world go by, perfect for a break between sightseeing. It does get pretty packed though, so timing is key.

I was stuck between two dishes, so the server suggested half portions of each. Really appreciated that option. Let me try more without over-ordering.

Been coming here for years, and the timed seating system is actually what I appreciate. It means the kitchen isn't overwhelmed, and the food quality has stayed consistent every single visit. Just book ahead—it's worth the small bit of planning.

Had a nice dinner here. The karaage was juicy and crunchy, really good. The grilled mackerel was cooked just right. Staff were friendly. But for the portion size, the price felt a bit high.

They have seats outside for waiting. Good when it's packed.

The coffee tasting set here is a must. You get three different single-origin brews side by side. The Ethiopian had a really bright, fruity acidity that I kept going back to. Seats are hard to come by, but the coffee itself is the main event.

I was exploring central Kyoto and stumbled upon this place. Perfect for a quick break! The location is super convenient. Just what I needed.

The savory tea set was a nice surprise, especially the little sandwiches. The decor is lovely, with a calm vibe that's just right for a quiet afternoon.

The handmade ceramics from Australia were so lovely. You can feel the care in each piece. And the compostable cups are a nice touch. It's those small details that give this place its special, thoughtful vibe.

The Australian-style coffee was so smooth, and they had soy milk which I really appreciated. It's a cozy spot to just sit and read for a while. Found some English magazines too. Felt very welcomed.

A spacious and clean cafe, and the chairs are actually comfortable for a long sit. A nice change from the usual chains.

The staff were very friendly. I did feel a bit hesitant to ring the bell on the table in the quiet dining room, but they came over quickly every time. It's a nice system once you get used to it.

Came here with a few friends for a late lunch. The matcha latte was really nice, not too sweet. The potato aioli sandwich was a solid choice, perfect for sharing while we chatted. Good spot for a casual catch-up.

Found this spot while searching for pancakes. The interior is so cozy and bright, with lots of natural wood and plants. It just feels really relaxing to sit here, even when it's busy. The pancake set was nice and fluffy.

Cafe 33 at the Hyatt Regency Kyoto is a lovely spot for cold brew coffee. The unique ice container adds a special touch to the experience, and the atmosphere is relaxing and stylish.

First time trying the 5pm menu. Good portions for the price, will definitely be back to explore more.

The view from the window seat was nice, but honestly, I just came for the food. Their roast beef sandwich was the real star. The meat was tender, and the horseradish sauce had a perfect sharp kick. That's what I'll remember.
