The classic rich ramen with garlic is the only reason I come here. The broth is thick and coats the noodles perfectly. The croquette is a solid side, crispy outside and creamy inside. That's it.

Found this place near the station. The food was good, simple and honest. The staff was nice, even offered to take a photo for us. A solid choice when the busier spots are packed.

The broth was rich and the noodles had a great chew. A solid glass of sake would have been the perfect pairing.

Been coming here for years. The yuba dishes are always creative, never the same. This time they served it chilled with a light soy sauce, really refreshing. Keeps me coming back.

The Ganko Don set with ramen was a solid choice. The char siu was tender, and the rice bowl balanced the rich soup nicely. Good portion for the price.

The lunch special is a decent deal. The premium beef hamburg was pretty tender, and the miso soup had a nice flavor. A solid choice for a quick meal.

Staff's friendly. Tried the ham and cheese spice bun - it was really fresh and soft, just out of the oven. That one's a winner for me.

The pizza crust is the real deal. Thin, crisp, with a perfect char from the wood oven. The fior di latte melts just right. Reminds me of a spot in Naples.

The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with both locals and tourists enjoying the standing bar area and engaging in pleasant conversations.

The tonkatsu set here is solid. The cutlet is crispy, not greasy at all. Staff is quick with the water refills. Price is fair for what you get. Been coming for years, it's consistent.

A solid lunch spot in Naramachi, about 15 mins from Kintetsu Nara Station. The historic neighborhood is pleasant for a walk. Ordered the unagi don. The eel was fresh, sauce not too sweet. Portion was decent for the price. Service was efficient. Good for a straightforward meal.

First time trying this place. The ramen broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles had a nice bite. A bit on the pricier side for lunch, but it hit the spot.

The soy broth here nails that Kyoto style. It's got that deep, dark flavor but doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all. Just a clean, savory finish. The noodles were a good match for it.

The classic bean daifuku here is lovely. It's not overly sweet, and the salted beans inside have a nice, traditional balance. A very pleasant treat.

The unlimited green onions are such a fun touch! 🥢 The Irodori ramen itself is loaded with toppings for around 800 yen.

The hamburger steak stew. The meat is soft, not dry at all. Lots of vegetables in the sauce, carrots and onions. It’s simmered for a long time, you can tell. The flavor goes deep. Good with rice.

The tonkotsu soup is rich and creamy, no porky smell at all. The thin noodles are great when ordered firm.

The omakase set was a fun surprise! Each skewer came out piping hot, fresh from the fryer. The batter was super light and crispy, and the dashi-based sauce had a nice depth to it. Really enjoyed trying a bit of everything.

Got the tonkatsu set right at opening. The pork cutlet was thick and juicy, the batter stayed crisp. The miso soup was a bit too salty for me, but the rice was perfect. That's what I come for.

Omi Champon was solid. Broth's a light golden dashi, not heavy at all. Lots of fresh, crunchy veggies. Felt healthy and satisfying.

Customized my ramen to be extra rich. The dandan noodles were spicy, just how I like it. Good spot for a quick, filling lunch.

The red bean soup with rice cake was so good here. The rice cake had a perfect, soft chew. Found it tucked away on a quiet slope. Just a very peaceful spot to sit for a while.
