Been coming here for years. Their snacks are always fresh and the portions are decent for the price. Staff know the regulars and are quick with a friendly nod. It's just a solid, reliable spot.

Popped in for a coffee to wait out the rain. The staff were so friendly, really made the stop nice.

Loved the vibe here, so cosy and relaxed. Had the smashed avo on sourdough with poached eggs - really hit the spot. The cakes on display looked incredible too. Just a nice place to be.

Stopped here for a quick lunch off the A9. Good parking. Menu had a decent spread, from full breakfasts to lighter bites. Service was efficient, got my order sorted quickly. A solid, convenient option for a motorway break.

The scone with clotted cream and jam was a lovely find. The menu is massive, though.

Gets packed most nights, but the staff still handle it well. Quick with the orders, even when they're run off their feet. Good to see a place that doesn't let the rush get to them.

Popped in for a quick cuppa and ended up staying for the fish and chips. The batter was light and crisp, just how it should be. The chips were proper, not those skinny fries. A solid, no-fuss spot for the classic.

The steak and gravy pie was lovely. A staff member suggested taking it down to Loch Fleet with a cuppa. Just sitting there, the quiet water made it taste even better.

Found this place tucked away in an industrial estate. The menu was huge, loads of vegan choices which was a nice surprise. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Just what I needed after a windy walk on the beach. The vibe is so cosy, with these cute little paintings everywhere. Grabbed a hot chocolate and a slice of their lemon drizzle cake – it was spot on.

Popped in for a quick slice. Pepperoni pizza hit the spot, really good crust. Service was fast and the guy at the counter was sound. Just what I needed.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The hot sausage roll was really fresh, you could tell the pastry was made that morning. The gingerbread had a lovely, warm spice to it. Just sat on the bench outside with them. Simple and satisfying.

Nice little spot on the main street. Grabbed a coffee and a slice of their carrot cake while people-watching. The cake was really moist, not too sweet. Saw a few dogs with their owners, which was a nice vibe.

Had the bladed beef, so tender the fat just melted. Paired it with a robust red from their list, really brought out the richness. A solid dinner spot for a good cut and a thoughtful glass.

The bar's afternoon tea had some nice Scottish bites. The whisky selection was a pleasant surprise, made for a relaxed afternoon.

Love the old-school truck stop vibe. Breakfast is the move here - simple menu but they nail it. Pies and burgers look solid too. Staff are friendly, tables are clean. Just a good, no-fuss spot.

The tomato and lentil soup was spot on. Really hit the spot on a chilly day. The place was spotless too, which is always a plus. Good portion for the price.

Been coming here for years. The fish and chips are the best around, honestly. Crispy batter, flaky cod. Their Guinness is proper, too. A bit pricey these days, but you get what you pay for.

Generous portions, and the coffee was a nice match for the hearty food. A solid stop in Dingwall.

The limited menu is a good sign. Had the lamb chops and the pasta, both were spot on. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe too.

Stopped for the Italian Stallion with soup on the way up north. Really hit the spot, that sandwich was packed and the soup was just right for a cold day. Solid little find.

Been coming here for years. The hot chocolate is the real deal, made with actual chocolate pieces, so it's always thick and rich. That's the one thing I keep coming back for.

A nice spot for a casual bite. The cakes are plentiful, and the portions are generous. I had the vegetarian quiche, which was a good size for the price. The gift shop is a cute addition, but I was really there for a solid, filling lunch.

The indoor play area is great for kids. Parents can actually relax and eat their meal in peace.
