The seafood chowder and soda bread were decent starters. Lamb shoulder was cooked well, service friendly enough. Prices fair for what you get.

Stopped in for a pint and ended up staying way longer than planned. Guinness was poured properly, creamy and all. Live music was class, not too loud either. Portions looked massive coming out of the kitchen. Wish I'd been hungrier.

Decent spot for a family celebration. Our waitress Anna was lovely and they brought out candles for my brother's birthday. Food was pretty good, nothing mind-blowing but solid enough.

The ribeye was cooked proper, medium-rare like I asked. Bourbon sauce ran a bit sweet for me though. Decent spot if you're after a straightforward steak in town.

Tiny spot but the tonkatsu ramen was solid. Staff knew their stuff when I asked for a recommendation. Just make sure you book first, place fills up quick.

The Mother Clucker burger is genuinely good—crispy chicken, soft bun, decent chips. Fresh orange juice too, which you don't see often. Just be ready to queue on weekends.

The eggs benny with spinach never misses, and those roasted potatoes with hollandaise are proper good. Pastries are the real draw here though.

The cod was done right, flaky and tender. The ceviche crostini were a nice little starter, fresh and zingy. They give you proper homemade bread with farm butter, which I always appreciate. Portion sizes were decent for the price, not huge but fair. Felt like they actually put thought into the menu. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Popped in for a glass of wine and ended up staying for a bite. The food was decent, but the prices felt a bit steep for the portion sizes. Nice spot though, if you're not starving.

The cheesy dough balls were the highlight — proper good. Pizzas came out fresh and tasty too. Staff were lovely, though the bill was a bit steep for two.

Stopped in for lunch here last week. Service was quick and friendly, food was decent for the price. Solid enough spot if you're around the city centre.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Place has a decent vibe, staff were sound. Got the ribs though and they were a bit of a letdown—pretty bland, barely any sauce on them. Maybe I just picked wrong, but I'd probably try something else next time.

Stopped in for a feed and wasn't disappointed. The king prawns were a solid portion, properly tasty. Had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc with them, worked a treat. Place was busy so we waited a bit for a table, but the staff kept it friendly. Chips were bang on too. Just mind the bill, it's not cheap.

The prawn tacos were unreal - sweet and spicy with chorizo and pineapple, proper flavour combo. My friend got the burger and it was juicy, cooked just right. We sat near the window and it had a nice buzz for a catch-up. Only thing is it got a bit loud later on, but we were too busy chatting to care 😄

The chicken Maryland is still as good as ever — proper old-school takeaway feel. Glad the new owner kept things simple.

Been coming here for a while now, and the chimichanga never lets me down. Got the pollo with mushrooms and sauce this time too, still solid. Place gets a bit loud inside, but the music keeps it lively. Good spot if you know what you're after.

Service was spot on - friendly lads who didn't hover. Got us seated and fed quick even though the place was packed on Saturday. Can't complain about that.

The salmon katsu roll is a decent shout if you're not into raw fish. Staff were friendly and it came out quick enough. Pretty good spot for a casual bite.

Stopped in for a quick dinner and ordered the chicken gorkhali. Portion was decent for the price, though I’d say it’s slightly above what you’d usually pay for a curry. Spice level was spot on—had a nice kick without being overpowering. Staff knew the menu well and pointed me toward something I wouldn’t have picked myself. Fine if you’re in the area and craving Indian.

The scrambled eggs on toast with tea for €5.95 is such a solid deal. I sat near the window and the light was lovely, really calm for a weekday morning. Staff were patient when I asked about gluten-free options, no fuss at all. Place was busy but not chaotic. Just a nice, easy stop if you're in the area.

The lamb shank was the standout — fell right off the bone, proper rich gravy. Had the chowder first, decent enough but a bit thin. Waiter mixed up our order but honestly didn't care, the main dish made up for it. Would go back just for that lamb.

Popped in after wandering around the city centre, near the English Market. Got the food hot and brought over, which was a nice change from the usual counter pickup. Self-order kiosks are handy enough. Tables were a bit sticky though, could do with a wipe. Fine for a quick bite.

The pizza's still spot on after all these visits. Family deal feeds us all without breaking the bank.

Solid spot for a casual Indian feed. Chicken kebab and dal tadka came out fresh and properly hot. Really hit the spot.

Came for the steak reputation and yeah, it holds up. Had the ribeye, properly charred on the outside, pink in the middle. Left properly stuffed. Only slight thing, the place was buzzing loud, but you kind of expect that. Would go back for sure.

Nice spot inside an old church — proper pub vibe. Guinness was solid and the live music added to it. Food did the job, nothing fancy but decent enough.

Stopped in for a late lunch after a walk around the area. Fish and chips were done right, crispy batter and the fish was flaky. Guinness was a proper pour too, creamy and cold. Place was busy but not mad chaotic. Only thing, took a wee while to get the food out, but sure look, it was worth the wait.

The Guinness here is seriously good—creamy, proper pour, one of the better pints I've had in Dublin. It's a proper local's pub, nothing fancy, just a bit rough around the edges. Gets packed though, like shoulder-to-shoulder at the bar, but that's kind of the charm. I'd go back just for the pint, honestly.

Stopped in for a late lunch and went straight for the fish and chips. Massive portions, the batter was properly crispy and the fish was flaky. Mussels were fresh too, no complaints there. Place was busy but we got a table quick enough. Wouldn't mind going back to try more of the menu.

Stopped in for a quick drink and ended up staying longer than planned. The bar itself has a proper old-school feel, wooden stools and all. Service was friendly without hovering. Just a decent spot to sit with a pint and not be rushed.
