The dining room is gorgeous, no doubt about that. Food's consistently good too, but honestly, the portions are a bit on the smaller side for what you're paying. I get that you're paying for the atmosphere, but I left feeling like I could've grabbed a burger on the way home. Staff were grand, friendly enough. Just wish the plate was a bit more generous.

The seafood tagliatelle was the star of the night — proper fresh pasta and plenty of prawns. Bar staff kept things lively too. Service was spot on.

Came here with a big group for a hen do and we had the whole upstairs to ourselves. The waitresses were brilliant, honestly so on top of everything. Two courses and everyone was happy with their food. Just a really easy spot for a celebration, no fuss at all.

Been twice now, food's proper fresh and homemade. Coffee was so good I grabbed a bag for home. Small spot though, bit of a squeeze.

The tasting menu was lovely — the cod in champagne cream sauce really stood out. Duck was great too. Only thing is the room felt a bit cramped, but the food made up for it.

The lunch special with soup and sandwich hit the spot. Veggie soup had real flavour, and the sandwich was properly filled. Staff were friendly too. Upstairs seating was grand.

Tucked away in a quiet courtyard, really nice relaxed spot. Porridge was spot on, though I wish they'd a better wine list to go with it. Still, great for a slow morning.

Came here with a few friends last week and honestly the chicken and burgers were spot on. Chips let it down a bit though, some were a bit sad and chewy, like they'd been refried. Fresh ones would make such a difference. Still, decent spot for a catch-up, wouldn't say no to going back. 😊

Stopped in on a whim, glad I did. The scallops were spot on, really well seared. Had the sea bass too, flaked perfectly. Wine list is mostly Italian, found a nice bottle that didn't break the bank. Place was a bit busy, but service kept up alright. Wouldn't mind going back to try more.

The staff were so kind when we arrived with my guide dog. They made sure we had a comfortable table and plenty of space. Really thoughtful service.

Been coming here for a while now, and the Sunday brunch still holds up. Pancakes were fluffy, loads of toppings, and the mini Irish breakfast with coffee included is a solid shout. Not greasy either, which you don't always get. Place gets busy enough, but it's worth it.

Lovely spot, staff really looked after us. Portion sizes were decent for the price, didn't feel ripped off. Would happily go back.

The Guinness game pie was proper comfort food—lovely mix of veg and rich gravy. Just a bit of a draft near the door, but the cosy vibe made up for it.

Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday. Three courses, and honestly the sticky toffee pudding was the highlight. Service was professional without hovering. Place has a decent buzz but you can still talk. Price felt fair for what you get. Wouldn't cross town for it, but if you're nearby it's a solid option.

Lovely little spot beside the library in Tipperary. Stopped in for a coffee and ended up grabbing a slice of cake—really good. Staff were sound too.

Sticky toffee pudding is the reason I keep coming back. Always on the menu, always spot on. The rest of the food holds up too, and the old church setting is a nice touch.

Celebrated our anniversary here and honestly the portions were massive for the price. Couldn't finish my main. Staff were lovely too but the food alone was worth it.

The lighting in there is really something—soft and warm, makes the whole place feel cosy without trying too hard. We sat near the window and it just worked. Food was decent too, nothing wild, but the vibe carried it. Maybe a touch slow between courses, but honestly I wasn't in any rush.

The decor is properly mad—all kitsch and colour, made for photos. Desserts were lovely and not dear at all. Staff dead friendly too. Only thing, they don't take cards, so bring cash.

The gluten-free pancakes were lovely, really nice to find somewhere that does them properly. Staff were sound and didn't make me feel awkward about asking questions. Will be back.

Lovely spot with that old-school charm. Kids were glued to the National Geographic mags while we had our coffee. Pastries were decent, though service was a bit slow. Would pop back in if I'm passing by.

The crab claw special was decent—really fresh, properly seasoned. Staff were friendly enough without hovering. Place was busy but we got seated quick. Only thing is it's a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd say it's worth it for the quality. Fine spot if you're in the area.

Food's consistently good and the staff are friendly. Quiet enough to hold a conversation, which is rare around here. Solid spot for a relaxed dinner.

Stopped in for a quick lunch off Baggot Street. Sat along the canal, which was decent. Had the burger—cooked fine, no complaints. Pizza looked good too. Service was quick enough, friendly without hovering. Menu's not huge but does what it needs to do. Fine spot if you're in the area and don't want to overthink it.

Dropped in before a show and grabbed the burrata and parma pizza — solid, though the base could've been crispier. The Louisiana chicken burger was the better pick, honestly. Staff were sound, no complaints there. The €8 kids' pizza deal is decent for the area, especially if you've got little ones. Busy enough inside, but we found a spot easily enough.

Lovely little spot tucked into an old cobbler shop. Pastries were grand, but the upstairs seating is the real win—quiet enough to actually enjoy your coffee. Wouldn’t mind if the chairs were a bit comfier though.

The beef stew was proper comfort food, really rich and tender. Bangers and mash were decent too, though nothing crazy. Only thing that got to me was the smoke drifting over from the smoking bit — kinda sat in our clothes the whole night. Shame, because the food deserved better.

The service here is superb, with friendly and efficient staff who ensure a delightful dining experience.

The garlic mushrooms were the best part—proper tasty and easy to share. Pizza was alright, just wish they'd cut it for you. Had to do it myself.

Solid cocktails. Staff actually knew their stuff, helped me pick one. Prices fair for Dublin, way better than Temple Bar spots.
