The lamb was properly tender, not overdone. Sourced local, you can taste it. Bit of a trek to get here but the food does the talking.

Great spot for catching up with friends over food. Portions are proper and the flavours were spot on. Staff didn't rush us even when it got busy.

The Sunday roast was decent but honestly the portion felt a bit small for what you pay. The croquettes though, those were the highlight. Lovely spot to sit and take your time over a meal. Just wish they'd been a bit more generous with the plate.

The lamb shank was properly falling off the bone. Good portion for the price. Worth stopping in if you're passing through Beechwood.

Stopped in for a quick coffee and a bite. Service was fast, no hanging around waiting to order. Staff were sound, friendly enough without being over the top. Place was busy but they kept things moving. Good spot if you're in the area and need something efficient.

The Pollo Funghi pasta was proper comfort food, creamy and well-seasoned. Decent portion for the price too. Just mind yourself around the area after dark, it gets a bit sketchy.

Came back three times during our stay. Karl and the team were spot on. Irish stew and fish and chips were solid, but the stout bread was the real winner. Lively spot, decent value for the area.

Came for the live music, stayed longer than I planned. Band was decent and the pints were flowing nicely. Proper old-school pub feel, crowd was friendly enough. Got a bit loud near the bar but that's on us for standing there. Fine spot for a few drinks if you're in the area.

Stopped in while waiting for the Dart, ended up staying way longer than I meant to. Staff were sound, even watched my bag while I ducked out for a quick call. Coffee was decent, did the job. Place has a good buzz to it, easy to lose track of time. Handy spot if you're passing through.

The bruschetta was the highlight—tomatoes were actually ripe, bread nicely toasted. Diavolo pizza had a proper kick to it too. Service sorted out a small mix-up with our starter and threw in a limoncello, which was a nice touch.

Stopped in for the steak sandwich with chips and peppercorn sauce. It was gorgeous, exactly what I needed. Staff were friendly enough, no complaints there. Place had a decent buzz about it, not too loud. Solid spot if you're after a casual bite, I'd say. Might be back again sometime.

Stopped in for a club sandwich and a smoothie. Sandwich was solid, chicken was fresh. Staff were sound, had a bit of a chat while I was waiting. Place was busy enough for a Tuesday. Smoothie was cold and thick, just what I needed. Might head back if I'm in the area again.

The popcorn tofu at Koto was really good—crispy outside, soft inside. Portion sizes are generous too. I'd go back just for that dish.

Early bird menu is decent value, food came out quick enough. Staff left us alone which I appreciate. Place had a nice buzz even on a quiet evening.

Stopped in for breakfast mid-week. Full Irish was solid, decent portion for the price. Place got busy around 9:30 and the wait for coffee stretched a bit. Not a big deal if you're not in a rush. Would sit at the counter next time, seemed to get faster service there.

The French brioche at breakfast was genuinely lovely—soft, buttery, not too sweet. Coffee was strong and fresh, which I appreciated. Room had a nice view over the river, clean and tidy. Service friendly enough. Just wish the breakfast menu had a few more lighter options, maybe some fresh fruit or yogurt. Still, a decent spot for a morning meal in Galway.

Decent spot for a traditional Irish breakfast. Portion was plenty and the tea came hot. Place was busy enough but we found a table easy enough. Food did the job, nothing fancy but solid. Wouldn't go out of my way for it, but if you're in the area it's fine.

Been here a few times now. Staff are always lovely. Burger was decent but the bun kinda took over, and the plain cheeseburger came out a bit dry. Good spot, just not super consistent.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a glass of wine. Tapas were solid, especially the patatas bravas. Sat outside, weather was class. Staff left us alone until we needed them, which I appreciated. Bill was fair for what we got. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

The club sandwich and tea were lovely again — fresh as always. Service was spot on too. Been coming here a while and it never lets me down.

The upstairs seating is a good shout if you want to hear the trad music without it being overwhelming. Chicken sandwich and goujons were honestly some of the best I've had in a while, chips were proper fresh too. Service was sound, no complaints at all.

Lovely little family spot by the river. Had the soup and it was fresh enough. Service friendly, nothing fancy. Good for a quiet sit-down when you want to watch the water go by.
