The beef burger here is honestly one of the more reliable ones I've had in a while. I like that you pick your own toppings, keeps it simple. The patty was cooked properly and the shoestring fries were decent. Not a fancy place, but the ingredients tasted fresh. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed the grilled salmon with greens. Fish was fresh, flaky, not overcooked. That’s the main thing for me—when a place gets the protein right, I’m happy. Portion was decent too. Room was a bit warm near the window, but nothing a cold drink couldn’t fix. Would come back if I’m in the area.

The avocado and eggs on toast was decent, really hit the spot. Eggs benedict were fine too. Service was warm enough. Probably the best breakfast spot around southwest Donegal. I'd go back next time I'm in the area.

Popped in for a late breakfast and grabbed the poached eggs with wild mushrooms on brown bread. The mushrooms tasted properly fresh, not the usual watery stuff. Coffee was solid too, nice and strong. Baked goods looked decent but I didn't try any this time. Place was a bit busy but worth it for the eggs.

Tiny little place but the cabbage dish genuinely blew me away 😅 Didn’t expect much from a veggie plate but it was so light and well done. Deffo book ahead though, it’s packed.

Steak was decent for a midweek dinner, and the tiramisu rounded it off nicely. The seating area felt a bit cramped though, like the tables were too close together. Not a huge deal, but I noticed it. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area, just maybe on a quieter night.

Tiny spot, gets a bit hectic at lunch rush. But that dulce de leche latte is worth squeezing in for. Quick in and out if you know what you want.

Been coming here for a while now, and the full Irish breakfast never lets me down. Proper portion, decent sausages, and the coffee is always spot on. Place gets busy enough at weekends, but that's a good sign I suppose. Still my go-to for a lazy brunch when I can't be bothered cooking.

The French toast and brunch wrap were spot on this time—eggs soft, salmon a nice touch. Owner even threw in a free brunch after our last chat. Proper care for customers.

Grabbed a chicken fillet roll here at lunch. Meat was proper juicy, not dry at all. Fried pickles on the side were crispy, exactly what I needed. Service was quick, in and out in ten minutes. Solid spot if you're in a rush and want something decent.

Mick’s a proper gent, told us how the place started. Buttermilk chicken tenders were unreal, beignets finished it off nicely.

The gluten-free pizza was actually decent — nice surprise. Service was a bit all over the place, but honestly the food saved it.

The staff were lovely and really attentive, checked in on us a few times. Food came out quick too, maybe 15 minutes. Nice relaxed spot for a casual bite.

The pastries are really good, especially the Danish and croissants. Staff were friendly and the place felt welcoming. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but I'd still pop in again.

Been coming here on and off for a while now. Chicken pesto pasta is still solid – chicken stays tender and the sauce actually tastes like basil, not just cream. Staff recognised me this time, which was a nice touch. Place gets busy around lunch so you might wait a bit, but it's worth it if you're not in a rush.

Stopped here on the way to Dublin and the chicken korma was lovely. Mild but still had plenty of flavour. Fresh ingredients, you could really taste it.

Stopped by for the 3-course deal, went with the T-bone. Steak was proper good, cooked just right. Place had a nice buzz to it too.

Stopped in for a late lunch and grabbed the rump cap steak with peppery mushroom sauce. Cooked properly, no complaints there. The Guinness stew in the sourdough bowl was decent too, filling enough. Portions are on the smaller side though, so if you've got a big appetite, you'll probably want a starter or something after. Fine for what it was.

Lamb was properly seasoned, didn't need any extra salt. Place feels more like a takeaway spot though, service gets rushed near the corridor. Dessert menu thin, one item wasn't available.

This restaurant offers a fantastic brunch experience with a diverse menu and delicious food. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it a great spot for a leisurely meal.

Took the drive out here on a quiet afternoon. The lanes are proper narrow, so take it handy. Place itself is tucked away, easy to miss if you're not watching. Had the lamb, it was cooked well. Not cheap, but you're paying for the peace and quiet. I'd say it's a solid spot if you're local and don't mind the trek. Service was grand, no complaints.

Stopped in for breakfast and honestly the food was solid. Got a bit of a mix-up with the order but the staff sorted it out quick enough, no drama. Place looks lovely, especially near the windows with the morning light coming in. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

This restaurant is a fantastic breakfast spot with a great atmosphere and attentive staff. The French Toast is a must-try!

If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience in Dublin, this is the place to be! The combination of fresh, flavorful food and attentive service makes it a standout choice.

I had a fantastic experience at this city center restaurant! The trained staff were friendly, and the stylish decor added to the overall atmosphere. The food was delicious, making it a top-notch dining choice.

Restaurant in The Shelbourne, Autograph Collection

Service was spot on even though it was absolutely rammed when we got there. Managed to grab the early bird menu and honestly for the price, the food was decent. Great spot if you're looking for somewhere easy with friends before it gets too busy. Wouldn't mind going back to try the full menu sometime.

Stopped in for a quick bite and honestly the grilled chicken with cheese was the highlight — proper tasty. Place has a decent buzz, not too loud, easy to chill for a bit. Staff were sound, no complaints there. Only thing is it’s not exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for. Wouldn’t mind going back.

Stopped in for a falafel sandwich the other day. Fresh, decent size, and the flavours were spot on. They’ve a small grocery bit too, handy if you’re after something specific. Place is nothing fancy, but it does the job. Gluten-free stuff there as well, which is good to see. Fair price for Dublin.

The steak sandwich was cooked properly, and that garlic dip really made it. My friend got the lobster pasta and it was super rich and buttery. We were there for a catch-up and it was easy to chat, not too loud. Only thing is the place is a bit small, but we managed. Would come back for that sandwich again. 😊
