Great live music and the stout was properly cold. Food hit the spot too. Service was a bit slow between courses, but the craic made up for it.

Stopped in for a drink on a rainy Sunday afternoon and ended up staying way longer than planned. The place has this proper cosy feel, staff were genuinely lovely too. Already booked to stay in February, that says it all really. Just wish they had more seating by the window.

Lovely spot — proper busy even on a winter evening, which says a lot. Staff were sound and the food hit the spot. Wouldn't mind going back.

The sticky toffee pudding was the standout—proper nostalgic, like something my mum would’ve made on a Sunday. Set menu at €38, and honestly for the quality of that dessert alone I felt it was decent value. Portion could’ve been a bit bigger though.

Popped in waiting for the bus. Proper old-school pub, photos on the walls and all. Way better than hanging around the station.

Been here a few times now and it never disappoints. Food's solid and the staff actually chat with you, which I love for a casual catch-up with friends. 😊

Been coming here for years now, and the Guinness stew is still the reason I keep showing up. Tender beef, rich gravy, proper comfort food. Caught the live acoustic session on Sunday too, which was a nice touch without being too in your face. Place gets busy enough, but that's part of the charm. Always leaves me sorted.

Went here for a birthday do — the sharing platters went down a treat with the whole group. Staff were sound, place looks well. Decent spot for a feed.

Service was spot on - staff kept the banter going even when the bar was packed. Didn't have to wait long for a refill, which says a lot.

Lovely spot for catching up with friends over cocktails 🍸 The interior is way fancier than I expected and the staff actually remember your order which is always a win. Prices are typical Dublin city centre, so not shocking but you'll feel it at the end of the night.

The bangers and mash were decent enough, chips were proper crispy. Live music upstairs was the best part though—second floor felt way more relaxed than the crowded bar below. Portion size was fair for what you pay, didn't leave hungry. Wouldn't say it's a hidden gem or anything, but it does the job if you're in the area.

The seafood chowder here is seriously good. Big chunks of buttery fish in a rich, creamy broth—exactly what you want on a chilly day. I’d say it’s one of the best I’ve had in Howth. Only downside was the place was a bit packed, so we had to squeeze in a little. Still, totally worth it for the bowl. 🐟

Nice spot for a drink outdoors. The cocktail tree at €45 for six is decent value. Service was fine, no complaints. Would pop in again if in the area.

I had a delightful breakfast at this bar, and the Earl Grey tea was particularly flavorful, making it worth every Euro spent.

Restaurant in The Shelbourne, Autograph Collection

Came for the ribs, left full. The platter for two was plenty — meat fell off the bone, sauce had a nice kick. Staff sorted us out quick, no fuss. Place was busy but we got a table straight away. Solid spot if you want a proper feed without the wait.

Stopped in for lunch and grabbed the grilled chicken salad. Greens were actually fresh, not wilted like most places. Dressing on the side, which I appreciate. Cold beer hit the spot after. Portion was decent for the price. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The cocktails at Jackie's are absolutely delicious and worth every penny! It's a great place to enjoy a night out with friends.

Came for the trad music, ended up staying for the food. The Dublin coddle was proper hearty — exactly what you want on a cold evening. Portion was decent for the price too, didn't feel robbed. Place was busy but we got a table quick enough. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Beejaye looked after us well, friendly without being over the top. Food was decent, nothing fancy but solid. Place had a good buzz to it.

Stopped in for a pint and ended up staying way longer than planned. The live music was class, and the place had a proper buzz about it. Rugby was on the telly, so the whole pub was locked in. Table service was a nice touch, didn't have to fight my way to the bar. Only thing was it got a bit packed later on, but sure that's half the charm.

Cozy spot for a proper Dublin pub night. Irish stew was spot on and the pint was poured just right. Got a bit busy later on but that's part of the charm.

Nice spot for a drink, no doubt. Cocktails were solid but service was all over the place on a busy night. Took forever to get the bill sorted.

Lively spot, staff were dead sound. Sunday roast did the job but €30 feels steep for what you get. Fair enough for a one-off though.

Stopped in here on a quiet evening and grabbed a seat near the window. Really liked that the menu had everything clearly marked for allergens, even gluten-free stuff. Made ordering easy, no fuss. Food was decent and the staff were friendly enough. Just a solid, comfortable spot if you want a relaxed pint and something to eat without any hassle.

Friendly staff and the pub had a proper buzz about it. Beef and mushroom pie was homemade, really decent. Prices fair for what you got.

Stopped in for a drink, ended up staying for dinner. Nachos were decent, chicken wings were actually pretty good too. Place has that old historical vibe which is nice. But honestly, the portion sizes felt a bit small for what you pay. I get it, you're paying for the atmosphere, but I left still a bit hungry. Fine for a quick bite, not for a proper feed.

Found this spot on the Michelin guide. Trout was spot on, well seasoned. Manager sorted us out nicely, proper service. Decent for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Cocktails were solid, that Spicy Cucumber one had a proper kick to it. Gabi looked after us well, friendly without hovering. Place had a good buzz about it.

Popped in for a glass of wine and ended up staying for a bite. The food was decent, but the prices felt a bit steep for the portion sizes. Nice spot though, if you're not starving.
