The Guinness here is genuinely good, one of the better pints I've had in Dublin. It's a proper pub, pretty spacious and laid-back, not as cramped as some of the other spots nearby. Staff were friendly enough too.

Stopped in for a coffee and ended up staying way longer than planned. That bookshelf wall is a nice touch, gives the place a proper snug feel. Had the lemon poppy seed cake with a flat white—cake was decent, not too sweet. Would've liked a glass of wine instead but they seemed more geared towards the coffee crowd. Solid enough spot if you're in the area.

The smokey burger really stood out — proper char on it. Jambalaya had decent depth too. Staff were sound. Just found the place a bit warm inside, but I'd go back for that burger.

The seafood chowder here is seriously good—light broth, loads of seafood. Had it twice on my Dublin trip and it didn't disappoint either time.

The bartenders really knew their Irish whiskey and took time to figure out what I'd like. Nice spot for a quiet pint, though the seating near the window is a bit cramped.

Stopped in on the bike last week. Food was decent and came out quick enough. Fine spot for a bite if you're passing through.

Nice spot for a quiet pint, small tables and good craic. Service was grand, just a bit slow at the table.

Stopped in for dinner last week — the steak sandwich was properly done, decent cut of meat, good bun. Fish was fresh too. Had a glass of their house red with the steak, worked well enough. Burger and pasta were just okay, nothing to write home about. Prices are a bit steep for what you get, but I'd go back for that sandwich.

Stopped in after work and grabbed a seat at the bar. The place has a proper Parisian bistro feel now, sharp but not stuffy. Had the chicken wings to go—good call, sticky and spicy with that Southern Asian kick. Bartender poured a solid G&T to start, worked well with the heat. Service was on point, never hovering. Might skip the dessert next time, but the wings alone are worth the trip.

Tried their own stout for the first time - really solid. The covered beer garden is a nice touch, especially when it's drizzling. Staff let me sample a few before picking, which was handy.

The rhubarb sour was genuinely lovely, really well balanced. Fish and chips did the job for a late lunch, nothing fancy but decent.

Came here with a few friends after work and honestly the rooftop area is the main draw. We grabbed some drinks and just hung out while people bowled below. Got a bit loud later in the evening but that's kind of the vibe. The arcade games are a nice touch too. Would go back if someone else picks the spot.

Stopped in for a sandwich and a pint. The bread was fresh, filling was decent sized. Staff were sound, didn't rush me at all. It's a solid spot for a quick bite if you're in the area. Mine was a bit messy to eat, but that's on me for picking something saucy. Pretty good overall.

Big spot, proper old-school pub vibe. Food portions are hefty for what you pay. Guinness tasted a bit thin though, not as good as other places around town. Still, decent enough for a feed.

Been coming here for years. Food's still solid, portions are decent. The specials rotate often enough that it doesn't get boring. Service has slowed down a bit lately—waited longer than usual for the bill last visit. Not a dealbreaker though. Still one of the more reliable spots in the area for a straightforward meal.

Came here with a few friends on a random Tuesday and ended up staying way longer than planned 😅 The staff were sound, really on top of things without hovering. I’m vegan and it’s always a relief when there’s more than one option—got the veggie curry and it was decent. Place had a nice buzz, not too loud. Would def come back for a proper night out.

Beef stew and the chicken chorizo pie were both proper hot and tasty. Son’s goujons were fresh, not the frozen kind. Only hassle was trying to flag someone for dessert, ended up just paying at the bar. Fine for a quick feed.

Came for the chateaubriand on the Monday/Tuesday deal. €70 for two with sides and sauces is fair enough. Beef dripping chips were spot on, béarnaise had good flavour. Service was efficient, no hanging around. Place was busy but we got seated straight away. Solid if you're after a decent steak without the fuss.

Solid Sunday roast. Pork belly was spot on, crackling proper crispy. They even did a little cake thing for my birthday, nice touch. Staff were sound, looked after us without hovering. Bit busy but that's expected. Reckon I'd go back for the beef next time.

The old woodwork and historic details are worth a look for sure. Irish stew had a proper rich sauce, probably the best I tried while I was over.

Solid spot for a quick bite. Grabbed a pizza and a pint of Guinness, sat outside by the water. Service was fast enough. Inside looked cozy but I didn't stick around.

Pizza was decent and the portion size was fair for the price. Service got a bit slow when it filled up, but the staff stayed friendly.

Stopped by for a cheese board and a glass of wine. Selection was solid, though the goat cheese wasn't for me. Paying upfront with a tip screen before I even got anything felt a bit off.

Solid pint and proper pub atmosphere. Staff were sound, no messing about. Bit pricey for what it is, but you're paying for the spot.

Stopped in for lunch and grabbed a seat at the bar. The curry chicken was lovely, really hit the spot. Caesar salad was fresh too, not overdressed. Place still has that proper old-school pub feel, which I appreciate. Service was friendly enough, didn't have to wait long for anything. Nice spot if you just want an easy meal without fuss.

Stopped in for dinner last week — the gluten-free options were a lifesaver for me. Staff knew exactly what was safe, which made ordering easy. Wine list had a good few choices too. Food came out tasty and fresh. Place was a bit busy but that's on me for going at peak time.
