The food was good but the service was truly outstanding. The staff, especially the Nepalese, were very friendly. It was a great experience and I will definitely be back for the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service.

THE BLUE ROOM

Each Japanese chef has a different style. I&#39;ve eaten at several restaurants before, but I personally think this one is delicious and special. The environment is good. The location is large, so you need to make an appointment in advance. Sitting at the bar allows you to watch the chef make sushi, which is a visual enjoyment. The ingredients are very fresh, especially the sea urchin, which is very delicious. The environment of the whole restaurant is very quiet.

2025 Global 100 – Fine Dining 

Matsukawa, once the No. 1 restaurant in Japan by Tabelog. Many customers can only make an appointment once a year. I am lucky enough to know the Japanese intelligence, and I have tried it twice, in July 2018 and May 2019. The original appointment was for March 2020, but due to the epidemic, I couldn&#39;t go to the site. So the appointment became January 28, 2021. It&#39;s really a standard once-a-year meeting.

2024 Global 100 - Fine Dining 

This restaurant offers high-end French cuisine with a Japanese twist &ndash; no surprise, it has two Michelin stars. The dinner menu consists of 11 small courses. The flavors of shiitake mushrooms, cheese, truffle shavings, beef and ayu fish stand out. The whole course is well-balanced. The waiter recommends the wine pairing, which is priced at 13,000 yen, as it includes some high-end wines such as L. Boillot Nuits Saint Georges, Comte d&rsquo;angerville Meursault, and a great sake, as well as an excellent Sauvignon blanc from Nagano. The restaurant itself is very comfortable, with seating at tables surrounding the open kitchen in the center.

Tokyo Ukai Tofuya is located at 4-4-13 Shibakoen, Minato-ku, Tokyo 105-0011. It is a large and beautiful Japanese garden restaurant. The tofu is also very special, especially next to the Tokyo Tower. The whole set meal is not expensive. The private room is large and comfortable. At the end, you can walk around in the garden and take pictures. It is a very special meal. In addition to the food, you can also relax your eyes and mind.

Andaz Tokyo restaurant is located on the 51st floor of Toranomon Hills. As it is on a high floor, the view is very good. The food is delicious and tasty.

2025 Global 100 – Restaurants for Views & Experiences

This was a truly amazing lunch. Chef Koji served us 4 superb courses, each beautifully presented on the plate. I really recommend this restaurant. The oysters were my favourite for the main course, but the roast duck was also delicious, as was the John Dory vermicelli. The dessert was a bigger chocolate surprise, you really have to try it. The waiters were really attentive and explained the details of each dish clearly and fluently in English. This was a great meal and a great value lunch that deserves the title of a 2 Michelin star restaurant.
