空空CJThe restaurant is very small, with less than 20 seats. Its signature dish is the fried beef rice bowl, which is impeccably delicious. The steak tastes best when it is reheated on a stone plate before eating. Most people eat it plain without any sauce. We were very lucky to be able to enter and dine without queuing at 6pm on a Tuesday.

Gyukatsu Ichi Ni San is located at 3-8-17 SotokandaWatanabe Bldg. B1F 101-0021, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. This restaurant is located on the basement floor of a small alley. The restaurant is very small, with less than 20 seats. Its signature dish is fried beef rice. We arrived at around 7:30 pm, but even though it was past meal time, there were still 7 or 8 people queuing. Because the store is very small and the turnover rate is slow, we waited for about 30 minutes before entering the store to dine. The menu is very simple, divided into Single/Double/Triple according to the weight of the beef, and then the difference between with yam/without yam. I ordered a Single size with yam (1400 yen, NT420), and the meal was served after waiting for 10 minutes. The meal includes fried steak, shredded cabbage, potato salad, grated yam, pickles, dipping sauce (soy sauce and mustard sauce), miso soup and barley rice The steak is wrapped in batter and fried, then immediately removed from the pan and cut into pieces, so the skin is crispy, but the meat inside is only about three-quarters rare. When eating, you need to use the small ceramic plate prepared by the store to roast the cut beef strips until it is medium-rare before eating it. It tastes very tender. If eaten with the mountain mustard sauce or mustard prepared by the store, the slightly spicy taste goes well with it.
Very delicious, with a crispy crust on the outside, baked on a stone slab, crispy and tender
It's tastier and easier to eat than beef or pork cutlet ♡
