Although the store is not on Nakamise-dori, you can always see long queues of customers waiting to make purchases whenever you pass by the store. The crust of Kameju's Dorayaki is different from the common Dorayaki crust. Its color is uneven and it looks a bit like a tortoise shell. Compared with the other two, Usagi-ya in Ueno and Seijuken in Ningyocho, Kameju in Asakusa is more expensive, but also relatively larger.

We traveled to Japan and this stop was in Tokyo. We came to Tokyo's famous tourist attraction, Sensoji Temple, to take kimono photos. When we came out of the subway station, we had to pass this fruit shop and then cross the road to reach Sensoji Temple. On our way back, we saw a lot of people queuing, so we curiously came in to take a look. This place mainly sells some traditional Japanese food, which can also be called fruit. The people queuing are mainly local Japanese people, and it seems that their business is good. Near the door, there are some very cute little candies, which are really beautiful and very attractive.
This is a shop right on Kaminarimon Pedestrian Street. They make delicious Dorayaki and have many souvenirs to choose from. The price is a little expensive, but it is more decent as a gift, so many people buy it.
This shop specializes in traditional Japanese desserts. Their most popular item is mame-daifuku, a traditional sweet with a thin crust and generous filling. They also offer other popular items like dorayaki (sticky pancakes) and konpeito (candied sugar candy). Gift boxes are also great for souvenirs.
