I made a reservation a month in advance. The crab steamed rice is really different from what I like. The steamed egg is also very good. It's just a bit expensive, so I'd order the mid-range set meal.
We ordered a 9800 set meal for two people, and added a boiled king crab. Actually, one set meal is enough for two people, but I really want to eat king crab, so I added one. The crab is really fresh, and the crab meat is also very full. I still like to eat it cooked.
If you can't eat at the main restaurant, you can also try the middle restaurant. If you want to eat crab, you have to go to the official website to make a reservation, otherwise you have to wait a long time~ It is recommended to eat lunch, which is more cost-effective, because it has different ways of processing crabs, you can taste different ways of eating it, and most importantly, the price is much cheaper than the dinner (main course), it is worth a try. . .
Many people must be familiar with Crab Doraku. If you want to eat crabs, you will be attracted immediately when you see the sign of this big crab. Since the price of dinner is not cheap, you can only eat the more affordable lunch set. The set meal of more than 3,000 yen is not very filling, but every dish is delicious. The aroma of the roasted crab makes people drool!
Take the Ginza subway line to Kyobashi Station, walk 200-300 meters after exiting the station, and you will see the restaurant sign and stairs on the second floor of the commercial street under the viaduct. There are various set meals, ranging from more than 4,000 yen to more than 10,000 yen (depending on how much you eat), and you can also order a la carte. I didn't know how to order a la carte, so I simply ordered two set meals. They were very fresh and delicious, and the crab legs were carefully cut open, so it was easy to eat large pieces of crab meat.
There were servers who spoke Chinese, but even those who didn't try their best to communicate in English to make us understand, which made the trip worthwhile. The special broth is a signature dish of Kani Doraku; it's light yet brings out the crab's natural flavor. As for the crab roe, it's grilled on the crab shell, resulting in a rich and savory flavor! After finishing the crab and vegetables, we added white rice to the crab broth to make "zosui" (rice porridge), along with an egg and chopped green onions. We then topped it with seaweed before eating, adding a touch of freshness – absolutely delicious!
