The lunch set is relatively the most favorable and very rich, but if your budget is limited, you can enter the store before 5 pm, and then order your food slowly, and you can enjoy dinner at the price of lunch.

The Shinjuku main store is the most popular in Tokyo. It is very popular to make reservations in advance. You can choose the mid-range crab meat set meal, which is enough to fill you up. The crab meat rice is great.
The crabs were all shelled, which made them very tasty. But the price was a bit high, about 1500 RMB for two people. They were all hyped up by Chinese friends, so they were not that delicious. They were just okay, but not filling.
A must-try crab feast in Japan~ The setting is Japanese-style, featuring set meals. We recommend ordering one set per person, or three for four. Umeshu This drink, served alongside the set meal, has a unique plum flavor with a hint of sourness and a slightly higher alcohol content. It's a great accompaniment to the crab feast. Boiled Crab The crab meat is exceptionally rosy and tender, reflecting the freshness of the ingredients. Two dipping sauces are placed at the stern of the boat-shaped serving platter: a lighter sweet vinegar sauce on the right and a darker spicy vinegar sauce on the left. The sweet vinegar perfectly complements the crab's natural sweetness, while the spicy vinegar has a slightly pungent flavor. Matsuba Crab Sashimi The sashimi's color is surprisingly the same as the crab legs, suggesting some ingenious preparation. The crab legs are easily accessible, eliminating the need for frustrating cracking. The sashimi is served with their own special soy sauce, and wasabi rice is provided in the lower right corner of the platter for your own seasoning. Crab in Milk This dish is made by baking milk, cheese, macaroni, and crab meat together. It has a rich, milky flavor and is perfect as a main course. The container is adorable and stylish, but the heat is very high, so please wait a while before eating. It's very hot! Be careful not to touch it, as it can burn you! Baked Crab Fresh, raw crab is served in a broiler. Place the crab meat on the broiler plate, shell-side up. Once the shell gradually turns white, it's ready to flip over and serve. It might look like it takes a long time to bake, but it actually cooks quite quickly. The crab meat is a bit bland, so I recommend saving some of the sauce from the previous dishes for dipping. Crab Hot Pot You must order this! You must order this! You must order this! I can't say this enough! ... Add kelp, bonito flakes, and other side dishes, and wait for the broth to develop its flavor before serving. The crab hotpot broth is truly amazing, even those who weren't expecting a crab feast were raving about it! The seemingly bland broth is surprisingly flavorful, delivering all the right hints of freshness. It's so light you can even eat the broth itself, and I actually think it's quite delicious. It's truly the essence of a crab feast. It's especially important to add the rice cakes last; they're incredibly chewy and will melt away if you don't do it quickly. Sushi The sushi also includes crab legs. The sushi box is like a bento box, with pickles and ginger garnishes on the side. It's quite a unique end-of-the-day dish. Clear soup This is a crab leg soup, lighter than the hotpot broth, but it's enough to complete the meal.
We went there at 2:30 in the afternoon, so there was no need to queue. Four of us ordered three different priced set meals, the most expensive was 11,800 yen, and the cheapest was 6,210 yen. Overall, each crab dish was very distinctive, the service was great, and even the ice cream after the meal was delicious. You must try it when you come to Tokyo.
There are many different kaiseki sets to choose from, with different dishes, so you can choose according to your preferences. I loved the charcoal-grilled crab (very fragrant!), except for one piece I left on the grill too long, making it difficult to remove from the shell. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very attentive! !!!
We arrived in the evening and were told the wait would be 40 minutes to an hour, which was fine with me. So we waited inside and were seated after about 30 minutes. We chose the smoking room and ordered snow crab. They have a variety of snow crab dishes, from boiled snow crab, snow crab sushi, snow crab salmon, and snow crab hot pot.
I originally wanted to book the Ice Gate in Sapporo, but failed three times. So I tried booking Kani Doraku in Shinjuku instead, as it was relatively easier to book there. I booked for 6:30 PM on July 17th. I returned from the Miyazaki Museum early and went straight to Kani Doraku; thankfully, there was no queue. You have to take off your shoes to sit down, and the staff wear Japanese kimonos, which adds to the experience. They have a Chinese menu, and lunch is cheaper. They make all sorts of delicious crab dishes here; it's incredibly fresh, but it gets a bit greasy after a while. The bill came to 500 yen per person in the afternoon, which isn't cheap.
