A tea shop that I have always cared about. My friend went to explore the route first, waited in line for an hour, said he was tired of waiting, and turned around to leave. A week later, we went again without giving up, and waited in line for another hour, but the line didn't move at all. Then it turned out it only had five seats in total. Me: Why don’t we pack it. Carrying three cheap small cakes (more than 200 yen each), I found a place to sit down and eat. Take one bite, eh! It tastes cheap! It's quite delicious, but I can't expect anything more. It's an ancient cake. The only thing worth going out of your way to buy was the cheesecake. The unbaked raw cheese is sweet and sour, with a delicate and soft texture. A piece of it can make your mouth smell good all day long.
A cake shop on Hitotsugi-dori in Akasaka. It is a long-established cake shop about 3 minutes from Akasaka-mitsuke station. They are especially famous for their cream puffs and rare cheesecake. The first photo shows the cream puffs and rare cheesecake, but they are small in size. The other cakes are normal size, but these two are a little small. There was a long line because it was Saturday. In addition to fresh sweets, they also sell baked goods.
🗼Shirotae in Akasaka, Tokyo 🍰I've had this place bookmarked for ages, and I finally went today. I arrived around 10:40 AM on Tuesday. There was a line of two or three for takeout, but no line inside, so I was seated straight away. 📜According to the staff, you first choose your cake on the first floor, then go upstairs and sit down at your preferred table. There's a menu on the table with a variety of teas and coffees. After the staff comes upstairs and you choose your drink, you start waiting for your cake. 🍞While there wasn't a line outside that day, the wait for the cake was quite long. Everyone inside seemed very busy, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're pressed for time. 🍴The cheesecake is rich, not choking, and not overly sweet. Although it's quite cheap, I think it's pretty average for the price, considering it's a bite-sized portion that can be finished in just three or four bites. I'm not sure what the Chinese name of the other cake I ordered is. It's caramel on top, with caramel and cream filling in the middle, so it's a bit too sweet for my taste. ✍🏻For me, this is a must-try dessert, not one I'd bother queuing up early. But if I were to pass by, I'd still stop in and enjoy a slice of this rich cheesecake.
It's said that this is a dessert shop that will make you smile unconsciously😊 🎈 Located in Akasaka, you'll find the right place if you see a line. There's a line guide posted at the door. Those with reservations line up on the right, those without reservations line up on the left. There's also dine-in seating upstairs, and it was already full the day we went. Unbeatable value🎉 I bought five items for just over 100 RMB. 🎂The raw cheesecake is so smooth and has just the right sweetness. It's rare to find raw cheese with this texture in China. 🫐The fruit tart is piled high with fruit. It looks so tempting. The tart crust is well made, and the fruit selection is good too. 🍞The pound cake is also good, but you can skip the financier. 🌸The puffs are small and easy to eat. 🍰Western Confectionery Shirotae, Akasaka 📍4-1-4 Akasaka, Minato-ku #LocalDelicious #JapanTravel #SummerFoodExploration #summernewfun #wheretogoforsummer
