Our regular Indian spot in Peebles. The food is just so good, and they&#39;re always so friendly when we pick up.

Came back for a second visit, and the food is still lovely. The staff are friendly too. But I did notice the portion sizes for the main courses seem a bit smaller than last time. Still tasty, just something to note if you&#39;re hungry.

The place is really just a counter for takeaway, but honestly, the food is that good. Had the chicken tikka masala last night and it was spot on &ndash; rich, flavourful, and you could tell it was freshly made. Worth popping in for.

A decent spot for some authentic Chinese flavours. The food was pretty good, and the place has a nice, relaxed feel to it. A solid choice for a quiet meal.

Stopped in on a road trip. The wagyu beef toastie was the highlight. Took away some white chocolate blueberry scones too. They were still warm. Perfect for the drive.

Really liked the vibe here, felt cosy from the moment we walked in. We had the lamb shank and the sea bass special. The lamb was fall-off-the-bone tender, cooked perfectly. The fish was fresh but the skin could have been crispier. A solid spot for a relaxed dinner.

This place gets packed on a Friday night, a proper local spot. I joined the queue and it moved pretty quick. The vibe inside is buzzing, everyone&#39;s just chatting and eating. Got a seat at the bar in the end.

Tried the gnocchi special with almond pesto. Really good, simple flavours done right. The pizza and pasta are classic, solid choices too. Just a solid, no-fuss Italian spot.

Came on a Saturday night, the place was buzzing. The lamb kebab had this lovely smoky char, really flavourful. Portions were generous too. A bit of a wait for a table, but that&rsquo;s expected for a popular spot. Solid meal.

Lovely spot to stop after a hike. The old train carriage is charming, and the little heritage displays around it are a nice touch. A novel way to spend an afternoon. The scones were decent, though the jam was a bit too sweet for my taste.

We&rsquo;d booked a last minute afternoon tea which was utterly delicious!  We&rsquo;d put in a request for plain scones too and they were freshly cooked for us - service was great (Matthew made sure we had everything we needed, and got us extra tea etc.,)

Proper old-school pub. The real ales are the main event here, solid selection. Staff are friendly, know their stuff. Just what you need.

The food&#39;s always fresh and hot, looks lovely on the plate. It&#39;s got that proper homemade flavour to everything. Feels like a proper meal, not just a grab-and-go.

The staff were so lovely with my friend&#39;s little one, even though there&#39;s no kids&#39; menu. They made a half portion of the pasta for her, no fuss at all. Made our girls&#39; lunch catch-up way less stressful!

The full English was spot on, but my veggie breakfast needed a bit more seasoning. Decent start to the day.
