Nomi was great with the kids, really sweet. Food came out fresh and quick. Solid spot for a fast bite, we'll be back.

The vegetarian platter is an absolute dream to eat, and the restaurant's location is even featured in the Lonely Planet, which just adds to its appeal.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the staff were the highlight. Super friendly, always checking in but not in an annoying way. Only thing is we felt a bit rushed even though it wasn’t packed. Would’ve loved to sit around longer chatting. Food was decent but nothing crazy. Good spot if you’re in the area though 😊

The pizza here is still solid, especially the bisteccato one. Been coming for years and it hasn't dropped off. Place gets proper busy though, so don't expect a quiet meal. The buzz is part of it I guess, but sometimes you just want to hear the person across from you without leaning in. Service did their best given how full it was.

Quick lunch stop, chicken wings were solid. Service was fast, got in and out without wasting time. Good enough for a casual bite.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the chicken burger and it came out fast, which is exactly what I needed. Place was clean, staff were friendly enough. Food did the job, nothing fancy but solid for a casual bite. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area and short on time.

The design of the bar is impressive, creating a cozy yet vibrant environment. I particularly enjoyed the jukebox in the smoking area, which added a personal touch to the experience.

The lighting in there is something else—soft and warm, makes you want to stay longer. Pizza was solid, crust had that nice chew. Pasta was good too, nothing fancy but comforting. Place had a relaxed hum to it, not too loud. Just a dependable little spot for a weeknight bite. Maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but the atmosphere kinda makes up for it.

Truffle pasta was legit the best I've had in JHB. Wine list had some solid picks too. Place was a bit quiet for a Friday night but honestly didn't mind.

Came here with a few friends for dinner and honestly the salmon was the highlight—cooked just right, super juicy. We also got the prawn curry which was creamy and packed with flavour. Place had a nice buzz, not too loud that you can't chat. Service was friendly too. Wouldn't mind coming back for that salmon again 😊

Went for the set menu and it was pretty good. The steak came out exactly as asked, and the sauce was decent. Place was a bit noisy by the time we left, but that's on us for booking late. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

The kids’ club staff really know what they’re doing. Friendly, kept my two busy for a solid hour, no fuss. That alone made the meal worth it. Food was decent, but honestly the childminders were the highlight. If you’ve got little ones, this place works.

Stopped in for a quick bite on Sunday. Got the lunch special, portion was decent for the price. Place was busy but food came out fast enough. Staff didn't mess around, got me in and out. Solid spot if you're in the area and hungry. Nothing fancy but it does the job.

Pizza base is thicker than your usual Neapolitan but still light. Got the margherita and it held up well. You can see why they've picked up awards over the years. Solid lunch stop, no complaints. Would grab a quick bite here again if I'm in the area.

The ribs were proper good, and the steak was cooked just right. But service was a bit all over the place—we waited ages for mains and had to chase someone down. Worth it for the food, just don't be in a hurry.

Steak came out exactly as ordered, hot plate kept it that way till the last bite. That's all I really need from a place like this.

Great local spot. The all-day breakfast hits the spot and the Tuesday quiz night is proper fun. Cocktails were decent too.

We had my daughter's birthday lunch here and the staff really looked after us. They even sang with us which was cute. She loved it! 🎂

Great spot for a group dinner! We had a big table and the food still came out fast and hot. The owner even stopped by for a quick chat. Spicy chicken liver pizza is a must. 🍕

Stopped by for a quick dinner — place has a decent vibe, staff were friendly enough. Got the grilled chicken, came out hot and well-seasoned. Portion size was fair for the price. Service was quick even though it was busy. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something reliable without fuss. Might return if I'm nearby again.

Came for Valentine's dinner. Ostrich and T-bone were solid, desserts really good too. Staff kept things moving fast, no long waits. Decent spot for a special night out.

Great spot for a quick bite. Pizza was solid and came out fast. Bakery section looked good too. Maybe a bit busy at lunch but that's fine.

The eggs benedict at this place were done right. Hollandaise had that proper tang, yolk still runny when I cut in. Fresh orange juice actually tasted squeezed, not from a carton. That's basically all I need from a breakfast spot. Maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but the food delivered.

Solid lunch spot. The grilled kingklip was cooked properly, flaky and moist. Service kept up even when it got busy around 1pm.

The tasting menu was beautifully plated, though the price tag is steep. Still, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh.

The breakfast pastries were really well done, and the space has this lovely charm to it. Service felt a bit hit or miss though—one moment attentive, the next kinda distant. Still, decent for a slow morning.

The upstairs seating has a nice view, pretty cozy for a quiet evening. Service was friendly enough, place felt clean. I ordered the steak though and it came out a bit dry, not as juicy as I'd hoped. Sides were fresh at least, salad had good crunch. Fine spot if you're in the area, just maybe skip the steak and try something else.
