Celebrating my wife&#39;s birthday at &#39;The Plate&#39; was a fantastic experience. The garlic bread and smoked Manhattan were delightful, and the gnocchi was a standout dish. The attentive service made our visit even more special.

The Sunday brunch buffet is a solid choice. The prime rib was my favorite - cooked just right and so tender. The dessert tower is a real showstopper, too. A bit crowded, but the food made up for it.

Tried the Kansas City Combo. The crown prime beef rib was the star &ndash; super tender and smoky. Brisket was good too, maybe a bit fatty for some. Pork ribs were solid. Just a solid meat plate, nothing fancy.

The staff here is so friendly and attentive, even when it&#39;s packed. Our server Christopher was great&mdash;he really took the time to explain the menu. It made the whole dinner feel relaxed and easy.
