The takeaway was surprisingly good, tasted like a proper restaurant dish. Great for those nights you just can't be bothered to cook.

Service was fine, the staff were friendly. The kids' playground is a nice touch, and the view over the golf course is pleasant. The set menu for two was decent value.

It was really a good experience and the dosha they made me feel like I went to South India and experience their rich and tasty food. Service was excellent and they take good care of me from start to end.

The mixed grill platter is huge and packed with flavour. The lamb and chicken are spot on with that smoky charcoal taste. Perfect for sharing with mates!

Been coming here for years. The veg hakka noodles and manchurian are my go-to order, always hits the spot when I want a break from curry. They've kept it consistent, which is why I keep coming back.

The salad bar is fresh, no limp lettuce. Portions are generous. It's that kind of hearty, home-cooked taste. Good value.

Lovely Sunday dinner spot. The dim lighting and those warm, exposed brick walls just felt so cosy. Perfect for a quiet evening.

Been coming here for years, and the building still has that classic, cosy pub feel. Always a treat.

The mussels in cream sauce were incredible. The half bottle of wine was a perfect pairing.

Sarah was a great server. The three-course meal was tasty and hot. Their wine list had a nice pairing suggestion for the main, which worked well.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating for our large group. Made for a relaxed morning.

The fish and chips portion was huge! Batter was crisp, chips were proper. Ordered on the app and food arrived quickly. It's a reliable spot when you just want a no-fuss pub meal.

A pleasant dining experience. Nice food. Great see or and we could chat to each other. Music nice and not overpowering. Thankyou for a lovely experience!

Stephen and Jim were brilliant hosts at brunch. They remembered our coffee order from last time, and Jim even suggested a twist on the eggs Benedict that was spot on. Made the whole morning feel really relaxed.

The staff are so lovely. They noticed a little hiccup with our pizza and sorted it out straight away, no fuss at all. Just really nice, attentive service.

Giorgio and his team were so on top of things for our big group of 26! Everything came out hot and together, which made the night so much smoother.

Chicken Dhansak was the standout for me, really rich and flavourful. Paired it with a glass of Rioja they suggested – a surprisingly good match with the spices. The paneer dish was decent, but the wine pairing was the highlight.

The fish and chips here are solid. The batter is crispy and the chips are proper.

Our wedding dinner was perfect. Carlo and the team were so helpful from the start. The space was lovely for our small group. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Morgan was brilliant on the day, letting us decorate just how we wanted.

Been here a few times now. The food is consistently decent. George was our waiter this time – really attentive, made sure we had everything. It’s a reliable spot.

Perfect for a pre-theatre bite near the Royal & Derngate. Staff were lovely, and that boozy brownie sundae was the star of the show.

The staff were really attentive, which made a difference. Menu's got a lot of options if you're into Thai. I went for the green curry, decent portion, hit the spot. A bit on the pricier side though.

Nice old building, feels cosy inside. Had the Sunday roast here, beef was tender and the gravy was spot on. Bit pricey for what it is, but a solid meal.

Busy night, so the wait was long. Staff kept checking in and apologising though, which was nice. Food came out hot in the end.

The spicy sausage pasta here is the main event. The sausage has a real kick, and the sauce is rich without being heavy. Spinach on the side was a nice touch, added a bit of freshness. That's a solid plate of food.

Service was quick and friendly even on a busy night. They kept our drinks topped up without us having to ask.

The rooms are lovely, and the private access to the event hall was a real plus. The wine list had some nice local options that paired well with the evening.

Popped in for Sunday lunch. The roast beef was perfectly pink and the Yorkshire puddings were huge. Felt like a proper home-cooked meal.

I'm not the biggest fan of Spoons, but it's a solid choice. The spice bag was genuinely good, and the table service was impressively quick. Prices are always a plus. It's just a comfortable, no-fuss spot when you need it.
