The burger was cooked just right, and I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. The onion rings were a nice touch too.

Jasmine’s service was so friendly, she kept checking on us without being pushy. Really nice for catching up with friends.

Lovely spot. We had a big surprise party here and the staff were brilliant - really discreet about the whole thing. Everyone's food came out just right, which is tricky with a large group. A really smooth evening.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local pub. Staff are friendly, the garden's a sun trap in the afternoon. Drinks are always well kept. Just a nice, easy spot.

Had a late lunch here. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, which made for a relaxed vibe. We were in no rush, just enjoyed a quiet afternoon. Food was solid, nothing fancy but well-prepared.

Came with a few mates for the Sunday roast. The lamb was spot on, really tender. Good size plate for what we paid. Nice spot for a casual catch-up.

Absolutely love this restaurant, really lovely food. Great atmosphere, great service and great food. Brilliant place to go for a leisurely lunch/dinner.

Emma was our server, really polite and helpful with the menu. Felt well looked after, which was nice. Service was attentive without being overbearing.

The outdoor seating is lovely on a sunny day, and the decor inside has this quirky, lived-in feel. It's a proper local pub atmosphere, not too polished.

Brett at the bar was great. He remembered our drink order from last time, which was a nice touch. Really made the evening.

Solid pub food. The pies are the highlight - the Bull pie was packed with flavour, really hit the spot. Fish & chips were good too, classic and tasty. Just what you want from a place like this.

Crab and cheese toastie was really good, the cheese was nice and melty. Homemade chips were crispy too. Decent portion for the price.

Been here a few times now. The food's always solid, and the staff are really friendly. Good spot for a group dinner.

Lovely rustic barn setting, feels both cosy and spacious. The decor is just right, and it's conveniently located in town. A very comfortable spot to enjoy a meal.

Will really took care of us. Had a few dietary things in our group, and they handled it all so smoothly. No drama, just sorted it. Made the whole thing easy.

Food's always reliable here, and it comes out quick even on a packed Friday night. I really like their fish and chips. The staff are friendly and the place just feels comfortable, which is what I look for.

Dog-friendly and staff were very accommodating. We were seated in a quieter spot which was appreciated.

The Park Gate Inn is a charming country pub with a warm ambiance. The menu has a great variety, and the food is both tasty and reasonably priced.

Popped in for their German-themed night. The schnitzel was spot on, really authentic. Had a nice local pilsner with it, which cut through the richness perfectly. A solid choice for a casual meal with a good drink.

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely carvery today. We received a lovely welcoming and a fast service. I didn't catch his name but the man that welcomed us and sat us at our table was really polite. Great food, great price and brilliant service. Thank you

The fish and chips are really good. The haddock was cooked just right, and the homemade tartar sauce is a must. The portion is huge, I could barely finish it.

Been coming here for years, and the portions are always just right. Not stingy, not overwhelming. That consistency is why I keep coming back.

Proper English pub on a quiet lane. Had a pint and read my book for an hour. Just the right relaxed vibe for that. Staff were friendly without being over the top.

Been here a few times now. Food's always solid. The homemade pasta is the move. Good portions, fair price. That's it.

The outdoor seating area is really pleasant on a summer evening. They stay open late on weekends, which is a plus. Good selection of real ales and ciders to enjoy out there.

The chef's special noodle soup was so fresh and full of flavour. The pork was tender and the broth had a lovely depth to it.

Staff were so welcoming to our four dogs, made us feel at ease. The dogs got water bowls and treats without us even asking. A relaxed visit, which isn't always easy with a big furry crew.

Tried the Sunday roast. Triple roast was a solid pick - massive portions, the roast potatoes were properly crispy. Couldn't finish it all.

The staff were so lovely with our little one. They brought over crayons and paper without us even asking, which was a real lifesaver. Made the whole meal feel relaxed and easy.
