The garden seating is really nice, those bronze animal statues give it a cool vibe. Food was tasty and staff friendly. Only thing is the dirt road getting there is bumpy, but once you're in, it's fine.

The River Café is a fantastic choice for brunch, with a great selection of meals and a serene setting. The staff is generally attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience.

The eggs benedict here hit the spot. Hollandaise was creamy, yolk ran perfectly. That's really all I care about. Had the one with avocado, solid choice. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but the taste makes up for it. I'd come back just for that dish.

The grilled red snapper is a must-try! It was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The cocktails were well-priced and strong, making it a great spot to relax after shopping.

Restaurant in Sarova Stanley Hotel, Nairobi

The food took a while to come out, so don’t show up starving or in a rush. The mahamri were honestly the best I’ve had in a long time. Portions are big for what you pay. Also noticed they support the local community center, which is nice to see. Just come with time to spare.

Stopped by for lunch after the museum. Beef tacos were solid and the portions hit the spot. Place was clean too.

The cappuccino here is genuinely good—rich, strong, not burnt like most places. I only stopped for coffee, didn't try the food, but that one cup was worth it. Outdoor seating exists, though I didn't really care about that. If you're picky about your espresso, this spot delivers.

The cappuccino was solid—smooth and not too bitter. Price was fair for the size, though I've had bigger cups elsewhere for less.

Been coming here for years and the food's still solid—burgers and grilled chicken are always good. Coffee's decent too. But the service has definitely slipped, like you wait a while and the staff just seem kinda checked out. I still go because the food's consistent, just wish the service matched it.

The game selection is huge and the vibe is chill, but service gets slow when it's packed. Food was decent for the price though.

Stopped here before my flight out of JKIA. Flat white was solid, not too hot, decent strength. Plenty of power outlets around, which saved me since my laptop was almost dead. Wifi held up fine for about an hour of emails. Place got a bit busy later but still manageable. Good enough if you need to get something done before boarding.

The sharing platter is the move here. Got that for the table and it was plenty. The individual steaks though, 50g feels kinda small if you're really hungry. Meat was cooked right, decent char on the outside. Place was busy but we didn't wait too long. Solid spot if you're in the area and want a proper feed without the fuss.

The crepes looked almost too good to eat, but they tasted even better. Owner was super welcoming. Prices fair for what you get.

Came here for a quick bite and the hot chocolate really hit the spot. Not too sweet, which I liked. The bagel was fresh too, soft inside. Service was friendly, the lady at the counter remembered my order from last time. Just wish the seating area was a bit cleaner, but I'd still stop by again.

The grilled halloumi sandwich was really good—crispy and salty just right. Staff actually remembered me from my last visit and asked how things went. That kind of attention doesn't happen often.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. Barista walked me through the pour-over like I actually knew what I was doing. Tried the Kilimanjaro brew — solid pick if you're unsure what to order. Place has a chill vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable.

Been coming here for a while now. The outdoor seating is still my favorite spot—greenery all around, quiet enough to just sit with a book and forget time. Prices have gone up a bit, but honestly, the calm vibe keeps me coming back. Not the cheapest spot, but it does what it needs to do for me.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying longer than I planned. The passion-papaya juice was really refreshing, exactly what I needed after walking around the old town. WiFi held up fine too, which was a nice bonus since I had to check a few emails. Seats were comfortable enough to just sit and take a break. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Nice spot to duck out of the Mombasa Road chaos. Coffee was solid, wifi held up fine for a quick work session. Service friendly enough.

The coffee here is really well-made, I’ll give them that. The place has that old 1950s Nairobi feel, which I appreciate. Staff were friendly too. I just wish they had more fresh options on the menu, something lighter. I’d come back for a cup, but maybe not for a full meal.

The garden is really nice and the staff were friendly. Food was decent but service took a while. Pool area is a cool bonus though.

The murals and decor give this place a cool, artsy vibe. Felt like a totally different world from the usual city noise. Good spot to just chill for a bit.

The sweet balance salad was so good—fresh and filling without being heavy. My friend and I shared the lentil puffs too, they were the highlight. Nice spot for a casual catch-up 😊

The omelette with chips and bread was solid for a quick lunch—nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Coffee was really good too. I liked that they give you filtered water in glass bottles instead of plastic, and the steel straws were a nice touch. Place felt a bit cramped though, not much room between tables. Still, decent spot if you're nearby and hungry.
