The bread with herb-garlic butter was a nice touch while we waited. Steak and ribs had good flavor, pizza was just okay. Nothing fancy but solid.

Been here twice. Seasonal menu is decent and prices feel fair for what you get. Staff were friendly enough. Just wish they had something to keep the kids busy.

Stopped by for lunch, place is small but warm inside. Had the beef goulash—pretty solid, meat was tender and the sauce had good depth. Bread on the side soaked it up nicely. Nothing fancy, but it did the job. Maybe a bit slow getting the bill, but I wasn't in a hurry.

Been coming here for years, the Švejk vibe is always spot on. Cozy spot to warm up after wandering the old town, never disappoints.

Went with a few friends on a random weeknight and honestly the steak was so good for what we paid. We got the ribeye and it was properly juicy, not overcooked. Service was chill too, they checked on us but didn’t hover. Only thing is the place got a bit loud later, but whatever. Solid spot for a casual catch-up 😊

Dropped in for a proper Italian meal and wasn't disappointed. The wine list had a decent Barolo that paired nicely with the pasta. Service was attentive without hovering. Place was busy but we never felt rushed. Just wish they'd dim the lights a bit, felt a little bright for a Friday evening. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Stopped here for a coffee and a sandwich while wandering around. The pastry was surprisingly good, not too sweet. Place is small but fine for a quick break. Service was okay, nothing special. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd still come back if I'm in the area again.

The gluten-free options are marked, which I appreciated. But they cook everything on the same grill, so cross-contamination is a real concern. Staff seemed to know about it, though. I wouldn't go here if you're strictly celiac. Fine for a casual meal if you're not too sensitive.

Salmon was solid, came out fast. Sat in the garden and it got a bit chilly, but the waitress brought blankets without us asking. That was a nice touch. Prices fair, decent beer list too. Nothing fancy, but I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

The onion bhajis were really good. Crispy outside, soft inside, and not greasy at all. I liked that they didn't skimp on the spices. Staff spoke English well, which helped since my Czech is still shaky. Traditional music in the background was a nice touch. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price.

Stopped by for coffee after the brewery museum tour. Espresso was solid, homemade cake did the job. Interior has some character, not your typical chain setup. Owner seemed friendly enough, didn't hover. Fine spot if you're in the area and need a quick break. Prices reasonable for what you get.

The udon here are the real deal. Thick, chewy, proper bite to them. I only cared about the noodles and they didn't disappoint. Broth had good depth too. Rest of the meal was fine, nothing wrong with it. Service was polite but I wasn't really paying attention to that. Just here for the udon.

The XXL schnitzel is a standout, and the local fish dishes are also excellent. The potato salad reminded me of the one my grandfather used to make at his country inn. Friendly service and fair prices.

The trout with butter and potatoes was really good. Nice to see gluten-free options on the menu, that helped. The view from the restroom was a bit odd but kind of charming, looking out at the castle. Service was friendly enough, though we did wait a little for the bill. Comfortable spot overall, I'd sit by the window again.

Been coming here for a while now, and the food stays consistent. Ali remembered our order from last time, which honestly made my evening. Place gets busy, but the staff still manages to keep things smooth. Just wish they had a bit more room between tables, but that's a minor thing. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The goulash soup was incredible, honestly one of the best I've had. Svíčková was decent but the meat could've been softer. Super central spot too.

Solid lunch spot, the daily menu had a few meat and veggie options. Mixed chapati with rice and it worked fine. Cafeteria-style but food was decent for a quick weekday bite.

The pork knuckle is still as massive as ever — definitely for two if you're hungry. Pilsner on tap was ice cold, goulash did the job too. Service kept up even when it got busy.

Solid grab-and-go. Cakes are decent, sandwiches fine. Coffee's hit or miss though. Free condiment station saves it.

The terrace really is the best part — we sat outside in the evening and it was pretty chill. Beef stew with dumplings was solid, exactly what I needed. Pork knee was decent too, though I wish they'd told us about the cash-only thing before we ordered. Had to run to the ATM after.

Stayed two nights with breakfast — solid value for what you pay. Bit outside the centre, but the quiet area and free street parking were a win. Would've liked a better wine list with dinner, though.

Decent game meat, well prepared. Service was friendly and the place felt properly rustic. A bit on the pricey side, but the quality holds up.

Solid local pub. Tank beer was cold and the portions are big for the price. Veronika handled our table quick, no fuss. Good spot if you're in the area and want a proper Czech meal.

The sirloin steak was spot on, cooked exactly how I asked. Schnitzel was decent too. Main course took a while to come out, but the food itself made up for it.

Simple tasty food and the bill didn’t hurt at all. Good spot if you wanna grab a quick bite with friends without overthinking it. 😄

Stopped by this place inside an old factory — the vibe is honestly the main draw. Tried a few local dishes and their own beer, which was decent. The space itself is pretty cool, lots of character. Not mind-blowing food, but fine for a casual stop if you're in the area. Probably wouldn't go out of my way for it again, though.

The garlic soup was really good, and the service felt genuinely friendly. Nice to find a spot like this that doesn't make you work for a pleasant meal.
