Got the 2-star menu and honestly, the portions felt a bit small for what you pay. Tasty, sure, but I left still thinking about grabbing a snack. Fine for a special night, just don't expect to be stuffed.

The salad buffet with the main course is a solid touch—good for grazing while you wait. Menu prices are fair for what you get. Service was efficient, maybe a little too quick, felt like they wanted the table turned. I had a glass of the house red with my schnitzel, did the job. Fine for a casual weeknight stop.

That veggie burger with the full toppings really hit the spot, and the side salad was fresh. The apple cake for dessert was a nice sweet end. We sat on the patio, classic beer garden feel. My cousin actually drives down from Munich just for their beer, so that says something. Portion sizes were decent for the price, I thought.

Nice spot for a quick bite. Food was decent, nothing crazy. Staff friendly enough. Bathroom clean, which honestly matters more than it should. 😄Came in without a reservation, got seated right away. That was a plus. Probably won't go out of my way for it, but if you're in the area, it does the job.

The landlady really takes care of her food, you can taste it. Homemade cakes were a nice touch. Cozy and quiet, warm welcome.

Cozy spot, that's for sure. We sat by the window and it felt really relaxed, not rushed at all. The food was tasty and the bill was pleasantly low. Only thing is the walk up is quite steep, so if you have trouble with hills, keep that in mind. Parking was a bit of a hunt too. But for a quiet, easy evening, it worked well.

The kids' meals came out before ours, which I always appreciate. They even brought water for our dog without us asking. Nice touch for families.

The homemade ice cream here has so many flavors to pick from. My sundae was pretty generous for the price. Solid spot if you're craving something sweet.

The sirloin with grilled veggies was solid and the price felt fair for what you got. Place is big and modern, nothing fancy but does the job.

We walked in without a reservation and got a table right away. The interior is bright and clean, not fancy but comfortable. I had the schnitzel and it came out crispy, exactly how I like it. Service was friendly without hovering. Prices felt fair for what you got. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Cozy old-school inn, host really makes you feel at home. The free appetizer and dessert were a nice touch.

We stopped by a few times for coffee and beer, and the cordon bleu was homemade and fresh. Terrace out back is lovely. Service was quick too.

Stopped by for lunch and the outdoor seating was really nice. Food came out fast, prices felt fair. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The food was solid, but honestly the seating got to me after a while. Those wooden chairs are not made for a long meal. We ordered the schnitzel and it came out crispy, no complaints there. Just wish I could've lounged a bit more between courses. Place had a nice buzz though.

The grilled trout was the move here. Cooked just right, flaky, and the seasoning was on point. Didn’t expect much from a random spot but it delivered. Place was pretty quiet for a weekday, which was fine by me. Would come back if I’m craving fish again.

Pizza was solid, stone-oven crust nice and crispy. Creative toppings. Service friendly enough. Good spot in Bodenmais.

Had the Irish aged flank steak with pepper sauce and cognac. Cooked properly and really tasty. Happy with my first visit here.

The homemade cakes are the real deal here. Got a slice that was still slightly warm, coffee went well with it. Place was a bit busy but worth stopping for.

The pasta and desserts really did taste homemade. Portions were decent for the price, which I always appreciate. Staff were nice too, didn't hover around. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Loved the vibe here — staff actually took time to explain the menu when we couldn’t decide. Perfect spot to hang out with friends for a bit. 😊

Friendly service, solid regional food. Spätzle and Kaiserschmarrn were good, apple strudel with vanilla sauce hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
