Came for the coffee ceremony, ended up staying for lunch. The traditional brew was properly strong, just how I like it. Had one of the stews — well-seasoned, deep flavor. Place has a relaxed vibe, nothing fancy. Would've liked a bit more bread on the side, but that's me being picky.

The interior really got me—cozy, warm, beautifully put together. Felt like a little escape from the outside. Just wish it wasn't so quiet, but that's on me.

The French toast with vanilla ice cream really got me. Warm, crispy edges, cold melt on top. Service was quick too, which I appreciated. Place has that simple, no-fuss vibe. Only thing, it got a bit busy around 10. But for a fast breakfast before heading out, it worked well.

Friendly staff, helped us find a spot with the stroller. Service was quick too. Nothing fancy but solid for a casual stop.

We came in on a busy night and the owner’s daughter was running things solo. Honestly, service didn’t skip a beat. Food was solid, same as always. Cocktails too. Only thing—it’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I’d go back.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Traditional pub, proper local vibe, not one of those tourist-trap places. Service was on point, friendly without hovering. Had the schnitzel, decent portion for the price. Place was a bit noisy but that's part of the charm. Solid option if you're in the old town and want something straightforward.

Stopped by this little Sicilian place in Zündorf on a weekday. Family-run, you can tell. Had the pasta and honestly the portion was decent for the price. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The ice cream here is really decent—flavors are intense and the texture is spot on. I had the pistachio and it didn’t disappoint. Only downside: it’s very much grab-and-go, no real space to sit and take your time. Fine for a quick stop though. Probably the best scoop I’ve had in Cologne so far.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the momos were the highlight 😋 Butter tea was good too, though it’s an acquired taste. Place is calm, easy to chat for hours.

Been coming here for a while now, and the lemon croissant is still my go-to. Always fresh, always hits the spot. Carrot cake's solid too, not too sweet. Coffee does the job alongside. Place gets busy but that's fine, they keep it moving.

Came here on a random evening, no big expectations. The food was solid, especially the pasta—cooked just right. Service though, kinda all over the place. One waiter forgot part of our order, then another one fixed it. Took a while but whatever. Place has a nice buzz to it, not too loud. Would probably come back if I'm in the area.

The owner chatted with me for a bit—super friendly, not pushy. I had the salted caramel and spicy chocolate. Both were solid, especially the spicy one, it had a real kick. Place is small, a bit cramped, but that's fine for a quick stop. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Place has a nice, relaxed feel to it. Staff were friendly enough, didn’t have to wait long for a table. Got the schnitzel—pretty good, fresh and cooked right. Portion was big, almost too big for one. Fine for the price.

The Kölscher Milchkaffee here is exactly right. Creamy, strong enough, not too sweet. I've tried it at a few places around Cologne and this one just hits the spot every time. They sell beans too, took a bag home last week. Service is fine, but honestly I only care about that coffee.

Came here on a warm evening and grabbed a seat outside. Good mix of people, chill vibe. Food was okay, nothing crazy, but the setting did the heavy lifting. Service was a bit slow but I wasn't in a rush. Fine spot to just sit and let the evening pass.

Pasta was solid, pizza even better. Place has this chill two-floor setup, nothing fancy but comfortable. Staff were alright, not overly chatty but got the job done. Heads up though, kitchen shuts down at 9pm sharp. I almost missed it myself. Good enough for a casual bite if you're in the area and not running late.

We stopped by for dinner and shared the mixed platter for two. Lamb and chicken were both really tasty, portions were generous. Owner came over a couple times to check if everything was alright, which I appreciated. Place is small and cozy, nothing fancy. Only thing, it got a bit loud when it filled up. But for a casual meal, it worked fine.

Stopped by for a scoop last week. They got a ton of flavors, some you don't see everywhere. Tried the Dubei one, pretty creamy, kinda different. Nice spot if you're in the area and want something sweet. Place was a bit busy but fine.

The spaghetti alle vongole was decent, but the carbonara felt too heavy on cream and eggs. I liked the room though — warm light, not too loud. Could sit there a while without being rushed. Maybe not the most authentic pasta, but fine for a casual evening.

Nice terrace for warm evenings. Drinks were solid, staff friendly enough. Menu's small but creative—got a free amuse-bouche which was a nice touch.

If you read Chinese, definitely ask for the secret menu. Way more authentic than the regular one. Had the mapo tofu and it was solid, though I kinda wished they went heavier on the Sichuan peppercorns. Numbing kick felt a bit tame for my taste. Still, decent spot for a quick fix.

Came here on a whim and honestly liked it more than expected. The green courtyard is really nice, chill vibe. Food was solid, had the currywurst and it hit the spot. Staff were friendly enough, though it took a bit to get the bill. Not a bad spot if you're in the area.

The salmon in nut crust was fresh and nicely done. Portion size felt fair for what you pay. A local actually pointed me here, so that says something.

The crispy duck was spot on—nice crunch, not greasy. Prices fair for what you get. Solid spot for a quick bite when you don't wanna overthink it.

Came here twice with the family, one vegan in the group too. Everyone found something they liked. The kiosk ordering in English made it easy. Staff were really friendly. 👍

Stopped by for a quick dinner, place was small but warm. Got the starter platter for two, plenty of food. Grilled meat came out juicy, nice char on it. Service was friendly, no complaints. Maybe a bit cramped but that's fine for this kind of spot.

Lamb kebab was spot on. Really tender, good char. Place is small but fine for a quick dinner. Service was friendly enough, nothing crazy. Solid Persian spot in Bonn if you're in the area. Prices are okay for what you get.

The curry with crispy chicken was solid — finger-lickin' good and not too heavy. Bun cha had that sharp vinegary sauce, really hit the spot. Summer roll wrapper was a bit tough though. Everything else tasted fresh and the price was fair. Quick bite, no fuss.
