Cozy little spot, nice and quiet. The food was good, service was quick and polite. I liked the upstairs area, it felt a bit more spacious.

Service was warm and attentive, they really made us feel welcome. The fried rice had a nice smoky wok flavor, I kept going back for more.

The set menu with ramen, karaage, and fried rice is a solid deal. The fried chicken portion was generous and still crispy. For what you pay, getting all three items feels right. The fried rice was a nice bonus, actually pretty tasty.

The tempura was crisp, especially the burdock root. Paired it with a local sake that cut through the oil nicely. The noodles were solid, but the tempura and drink combo was the real draw for me.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our water was always filled. It made for a very pleasant dining experience.

The udon noodles have a firm, chewy texture that's really good. The broth is mild but still has flavor.

Friendly staff, even with my limited Japanese. They took time to show me their collection of Canadian pins. Good service makes a difference when you're traveling.

Booked ahead and glad I did - this place is tiny! Got lucky once as a walk-in but they only had a 45-minute slot. The uni pasta that night was incredible, creamy but not heavy.

The beef tongue from the set course was really good. Everything else was fresh and cooked just right.

Been coming here for years. The soba is always good, noodles have a nice bite. The tempura is light, not greasy. The oyako-don is simple and just right. It's a solid local spot.

I keep coming back for their coffee selection. They explain the beans and let you choose by aroma, which I always appreciate.

The teppanyaki counter is so clean and well-lit, love watching the chef work.

Stumbled upon this place near Hiroshima Station. Ordered the dry dandan noodles. The flavor was intense, really packed a punch. Quick service too. Just what I needed.

Staff were really nice about my vegetarian request, swapped out the sauce no problem. The chefs were friendly too, which made the whole vibe chill. Grilled Hiroshima oysters were tasty.

This cafe is a great choice for families with children, as it offers a welcoming atmosphere and a special children's menu. Dishes like Hayashi rice and Cafelier rice are particularly delicious and enjoyable.

Noodle size options are a nice touch, but portions felt a bit small for the price.

Cozy spot with a fireplace inside and sea view outside. Service was attentive, not intrusive. Good for a quiet business lunch.

Classic okonomiyaki in Yoshijima. The texture was spot-on, just like the traditional style. Good portion for the price. Service was efficient, got my order quickly. Solid choice for a straightforward meal.

Been coming here for years, and the sukiyaki course is still the main reason. That quality of meat for around 10,000 yen for two with drinks? It's just consistently good. Keeps me coming back.

The grilled chicken cartilage with salt is so good with a beer. The char on it is just right.

The counter seating is so comfortable, and you can watch them prepare everything. The tomato jelly was really refreshing, and the asparagus tempura was light and crispy. A very pleasant, easy meal.

The manager's wine recommendation was spot-on for a quiet Tuesday dinner. Really made the evening.

The tempura omakase here is so delicate. Each course felt like a tiny, perfect bite. The shrimp was my favorite, with that light, crispy batter. A real treat!
