The jacket potato was huge, definitely a meal on its own. Loads of cheese and coleslaw, and the salad with vinaigrette was really good. For the price, you get a lot. No complaints about the portion size here.

Perfect spot for a catch-up with friends. The loose-leaf tea selection is huge, and the cakes are a nice treat. Plus, it's for a good cause, which is lovely.

Love that they’re dog-friendly! Plenty of seating, including accessible tables, and the parking out back made it so easy. The vibe is relaxed, perfect for a casual bite.

Cosy little place, perfect for warming up after a long walk. The minimalist decor is spot on. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which really made the visit.

Really enjoyed the local craft ales here. The owners clearly know their stuff and have a great selection. It's nice to find a place that focuses on independent brewers. The seating was comfortable too, which made for a relaxed visit.

Popped in for a coffee while walking around. The place feels really cosy and lived-in, like a proper local spot. Barista was sound, got my flat white sorted quick. Prices are decent for what you get.

Cosy spot in Penrith. The scone with that Cumberland mustard had a nice little kick to it. Soups were tasty too. Good for a quick warm-up.

Just tried their new spot. The sandwich was spot on, fresh bread and generous fillings. Salad had a nice crunch. Service was friendly and quick, even though the place was packed. Really enjoyed it.

The dairy-free snacks were a nice find, and the staff helped me pick some out. The raspberry tea was lovely on a rainy day.

Popped in for lunch with the kids. The Caesar salad was crisp, and the tuna melt hit the spot. My little one was happy with his milkshake. What really stood out was the wine list—found a surprisingly good Pinot Grigio by the glass that paired nicely with the meal. A solid, relaxed spot.

Cosy place with a huge tea and coffee menu. They grind the beans fresh, you can smell it from outside. Ordered a flat white, but it was a bit on the small side for the price.

The gluten-free bread here is a nice touch. Not everywhere has it, and it was actually pretty decent. Made ordering a lot easier for me.

The millionaire's shortcake was so good. Rich caramel, perfect crumb. The paradise slice was a nice follow-up, not too sweet. Just a lovely little treat with my coffee.

Been here a few times for a quick lunch. The breakfast burger is my usual - patty, sausage, bacon, and a runny egg. Fries and salad are fine. The homemade mayo with onions is really good. Gets the job done.

The sandwiches here are so good. I had the one with slow-roasted pork and pickled onions, the bread was perfectly toasted. Service was quick and friendly too.

Nice spot at the end of the pier. The fish and chips are fresh and you get a good portion for the price.

Popped in for a late lunch. The omelette was spot on, fluffy and cheesy. Coffee was decent. Staff were really welcoming, which was nice after a long morning. Handy they have parking out back.

The window tables have such a lovely view of the bay. A nice spot for a coffee, the ingredients in my salad tasted really fresh too.

Lovely little find in Bashful Alley! Great spot for a catch-up with a friend over coffee and cake. They've got some nice veggie and gluten-free choices too.

The full English was solid, especially the Cumberland sausage - proper flavour. Flat white hit the spot. Service slowed down when they got busy, but that just meant more time to chat with my mates.

My regular spot in Kendal. The meze dishes are really nice, but I'm always here for the freshly baked borek - it's so good I usually grab an extra one to take away. They've got loads of vegan choices too.

The afternoon tea is a nice treat. The scones were particularly good, warm and fluffy. The presentation of the savories and sweets was lovely. A pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of carrot cake. The cake was spot on, really moist and not too sweet. Staff were lovely and kept things moving even when it got busy. No complaints.

The Buddha bowl was lovely, especially the warm falafel and coronation sauce. The homemade cakes looked tempting too. My only small note is that the chairs are a bit hard for a longer sit.

Really liked the vibe here - feels like a cosy extension of the gift shop next door. The staff were super friendly, which made it a nice spot to just sit and relax for a bit.

Love that they're so welcoming to dogs. The homemade treats were a really sweet touch. My pup was over the moon.

Came in on a rainy day. The cakes are fresh and the variety is decent, but the portion for the price felt a bit small.

Popped in for a quiet afternoon tea. The pumpkin spice latte was spot on—really good flavour, not too sweet. The cake was a bit dry though. Nice spot to unwind.

Love popping in here with mates for a quick catch-up. The sausage rolls are always warm and flaky, perfect for sharing over a coffee. It's just a really nice, relaxed spot.
