Fried oysters were the move. Super fresh, not rubbery at all. Hushpuppies that came with them were fantastic too. Just a solid plate.

A bit pricey, but you can taste the freshness in every bite. The scallops were seared perfectly, and the veggies were crisp. Everything's made to order, so it takes a minute, but it's worth it.

Stopped in for the lobster roll and fish sandwich. The food was good, but what I really liked was the space. It’s bright, with lots of plants and big windows. Felt really relaxed just sitting there with my shake.

Country fried steak was crispy and the cucumber salad was super fresh. Perfect for a chill dinner with friends. We ended up staying for hours just chatting.

The staff are so friendly and attentive, they really make you feel welcome. It’s nice to feel like a regular even on a first visit.

Stopped in for a coffee and ended up staying for a bite. The iced chai latte was just right, not too sweet. The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit hit the spot. Really appreciated all the cozy seating options—found a quiet corner and just relaxed for a while.

Tried the ribs here, they were literally fall-off-the-bone. The cornbread croutons in the salad were a nice touch, never had that before. Solid spot for some good, messy food.

Been coming here for years. The rockfish sandwich is always solid, especially on a quiet Tuesday when you need a sure thing.

The takeout was a nice surprise. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted, especially in the salad. Everything felt light and clean. The packaging kept it all separate, which was thoughtful.

The server knew the menu inside out. Suggested the daily special, a pork belly stew. The meat was incredibly tender, just fell apart. Broth had a deep, savory flavor with a hint of ginger. That recommendation was spot on.

Love this cute little spot! The staff were super nice and made us feel right at home. Perfect for catching up with friends over a good meal. Found it while exploring Matthews County. 😊

This is Actually a THAI Restaurant located in Gloucester Va not a Japanese Restaurant. I have personally eaten there for over 8 years and worked there as a server in total approximately 5 years and hands down this place is amazing. We have wonderful owners which the wife is actually originally from Thailand, so the food is very authentic. You couldn't find fresher dishes unless you went fishing yourself. Our owner is still hands on in every recipe, continuing to make all the sauces assuring consistent quality. The Environment is classy yet casual, staff is very accommodating to their guests needs. They have live music on Wednesdays and Fridays. I've had the pleasure of working for this THAI RESTUARNT and highly recommend it! I've never worked in such a clean environment with such friendly coworkers that actually love their jobs which definitely reflects on the way guests are treated and the environment that is created for them! Been coming here for years. The cream of crab soup is still the best around, thick and full of meat. Got it with the crabby fries again, solid combo. Servers are quick and know the regulars.

The craft beer list is solid, and they had a local IPA that worked surprisingly well with the spicy sausage pizza special. Just the right kind of pairing for a casual Friday night.
