The buckwheat loaf was a solid pick—dense and nutty, just how I like it. Would’ve loved a glass of something crisp to go with it, but they only do bread. Selection gets thin by late afternoon, so get there early.

Been coming here for a while now. The pistachio is still the one I keep going back to. Prices are fair for the neighbourhood, service is quick enough. Solid spot.

The cinnamon buns here are seriously good. Soft, not too sweet, and they actually taste like the ones I used to get back in Denmark. I grabbed one to go and ended up finishing it before I even left the parking lot. Wish they were a bit bigger for the price, but honestly, I'll be back for another one.

We did the baking workshop on Sunday, made chocolate babka and cinnamon rolls from scratch. The host was really welcoming, gave us plenty of tips along the way. Took everything home afterwards, which was a nice bonus. Dough was well-prepared, fresh ingredients. Maybe a bit pricey for the time, but a good way to spend an afternoon.

Pastries were pretty good, even for a picky French palate. The shop layout is a bit odd, but worth it.

Stopped by for some chocolates and liked the vintage vibe inside. They have a decent range, from classic bonbons to the fun shoe and handbag shapes. Staff was friendly, helped me pick a few. Chocolates themselves were pretty good, maybe slightly on the sweet side for me. Fine if you're in the area and want something a bit different.

The Buffalo Flip was solid, and the focaccia had that perfect crunch. Nice wine list to round it out. Portions are a bit small for the price though.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast before the museums. Had the ham and cheese croissant, asked for it warm. Pretty good, flaky and the cheese was nicely melted. Coffee was decent too. Place gets busy around 9, but the line moved fast. Fine if you're in the area and want something easy.

Nice spot for a quick breakfast. Sat outside, sun was out, felt good. Food came fast, no complaints there. Place got a bit busy around 10 but that's fine. Just a solid casual stop if you're in the area. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The baguettes here are solid—crusty outside, chewy inside. Good range of fillings too. Staff was friendly even though the guy was running the whole place by himself during the lunch rush. There's a small seating area in the back, which is handy if you wanna eat right away. Worth grabbing one if you're in the area.

Sourdough sandwich was solid. Scone still warm, croissant flaky enough. Coffee pairs well. Place was busy but got a seat. Pastry case looked better than it tasted honestly. Fine for a quick bite.

The staff were super friendly and helped us order in English without any hassle. Even got a bigger piece of the cinnamon bun, which was a nice touch. Pastries were fresh, but honestly the portion could've been a bit bigger for the price.

Stumbled on this bakery while walking along the canal and ended up staying longer than planned. The downstairs seating looks right out over the water, which is pretty nice. Got the chocolate-dipped croissant — that thing was seriously good, flaky and not too sweet. Bathroom was clean too, always a plus in my book.

Had the salmon bagel with dill sauce. Chewy, fresh, not those dense dry ones you get everywhere. Pretty close to a proper NY bagel honestly.

Stopped by for some sweets. Good selection, cookies and some seasonal stuff. Staff was friendly, helped me pick something. Nice little corner spot.

Tried the chocolate banana tart and the classic lemon one. Both were fresh, pastry was properly crisp. 20+ kinds to choose from, honestly a bit overwhelming. Prices are normal for Amsterdam bakeries. The chocolate banana one had a good balance, not too sweet.

The plain croissant is really good - you can see them baking through the glass, which I like. Layers were distinct and the outside was properly crisp. Probably the best one I've had around here.

Decent pastries and bread, nicely made. Open kitchen is a nice touch. A bit pricey, but portions are generous.

The fresh stroopwafels are solid, especially the plain ones they make right in front of you. Caramel’s rich and the texture’s spot on. Just wish the plain ones weren’t so pricey for the size.

The coffee was solid and the space is nice to just sit in for a while. Service didn’t disappoint either. Felt like a good stop.

Stumbled in here without expecting much, ended up really liking it. Staff was patient when I asked to change up my sandwich, didn't make me feel rushed at all. Everything came out fresh, bread was good too. Only thing is it got a bit busy around noon, but that's on me for the timing.

Cute little spot in central Amsterdam for a quick bite. Staff were friendly and the vibe was fine. Decent choice if you're nearby and don't want to queue anywhere.

Crepes were solid, warm and tasty on their own. Didn't even need toppings. Good spot for a quick sweet fix.
