The terrace is the whole reason to come here honestly. I grabbed a table outside and had the eggs Benedict—the hollandaise was properly tangy. French toast was solid too, fluffy inside. Staff checked in just enough without hovering. Prices felt okay for what you get. Only thing is it got a bit busy by noon, so go early if you want a good spot.

The wooden interior gives it a warm feel, really nicely done. Convenient spot if you're near the VU or Zuidas. Prices run a bit high though. I had a glass of their house red with the steak, decent pairing but nothing that blew me away. Fine for a casual dinner nearby, just don't expect a bargain.

The toilet entrance being a giant pipe was honestly the best part of the decor 😄 Food was solid too, especially the pea soup. Place has a proper cozy vibe, though it did get a bit busy.

The ambiance, the main reason for our visit, looked exactly like the photos. With only the candles lit in the evening, it created a wonderfully warm and authentic atmosphere.

Breakfast here hit the spot before we headed out of Amsterdam. Eggs came with decent coffee, and the price felt fair for the neighbourhood. Sat outside by the canal, sunny morning, no rush at all. Only thing—service took a bit to get going, but the view made up for it. Would’ve liked a proper Bloody Mary to go with it though.

Came here on a quiet Tuesday night, sat by the window. Canal view is really something, especially when it gets dark. Staff didn't hover, just left us alone until we needed them. Had the tapas plate to start, decent variety. Pork schnitzel was cooked right, crispy outside, juicy inside. Paid about what I expected for the area. Not a place I'd rush back to, but solid if you're nearby.

The eggs with avocado mousse were really good, and the burger didn’t disappoint either. Nice spot for a Sunday brunch, staff was friendly. Interior looks great, though it did get a bit busy.

Stopped by for a late afternoon drink. Place has a relaxed vibe, decent music, not too loud. Food was okay, nothing crazy. Service took a while though, even for just a couple of beers. Fine if you're not in a hurry and just want to sit outside. Fair for what it is.

The pumpkin soup really stood out. Chef Luis actually came by the table to walk us through how he makes it, which was a nice touch. Croque madame and monsieur were solid too, though the soup was the highlight for me. Place has a decent vibe, nothing fancy, but the food does the talking.

The rendang pistolet was decent but the bread felt a bit plain. Coffee was excellent though. Just not sure it's worth the price.

The hot chocolate was perfect for a chilly day and that sausage pastry thing was surprisingly light. Service was quick even though someone was clearly still learning. Good spot for a casual catch-up ☕️

Cozy little spot with a proper neighbourhood feel. Sat outside, plenty of room, and the dog was perfectly happy under the table. Had a glass of their house red while I waited for the food—nothing fancy, but it did the job. Service was friendly enough, though it took a while to get the bill. Fine for a lazy afternoon.

The upstairs seating has this beautiful soft light and a view over the whole café. Lovely spot to just sit with a cappuccino and apple cake. ☕

Came for the egg-focused menu, left satisfied. Halloumi omelette was properly seasoned and filling, fresh juice on the side was a good call. Place is tiny, so there was a short wait, but it moved quicker than expected. Fine if you're in the area and want a solid breakfast without fuss.

The pancakes were a bit dry for me, but the place itself had a nice vibe. Food looked good on the plate, that's for sure. Decent enough.

Nice little spot on the canal. Cappuccino was solid and the terrace is good for hanging out. Service gets a bit slow when it's packed though.

Decent spot for celiacs - felt safe eating here, and the cheeseburger was pretty good. Didn't taste gluten-free at all. Staff were friendly enough.

Solid burger spot. The loaded fries had plenty of toppings and the burger was decent for the price. Ordering at the kiosk was quick, no hassle.

Stopped by for lunch last week. Got the veggie breakfast club sandwich - bread was fresh, fillings tasted good. But honestly the cakes are the main reason I keep coming back. Place gets busy around noon, took a bit to get our order. Fine for a casual bite though.

The brie sandwich was decent for the price—bread tasted fresh, not like it sat around all morning. Flat white was smooth too. Only thing is the place is tiny, so don't expect to sit long. Grabbed mine to go and ate outside. Fine if you're in the area and want something quick without spending a fortune.

The carrot cake really hit the spot—moist, not too sweet, and it went well with my coffee. Place gets busy with tourists though, so grab a seat while you can.

Solid brunch spot. Pancakes were decent, granola was good too. Cinnamon bun warmed up was the standout. Menu has enough variety between sweet and savory. Service was efficient, no complaints there. Place was busy but we got seated quick. Fine for a casual weekend breakfast, nothing fancy but does the job.

Been coming here for a while now, and the seafood trio is still my go-to. Bitterballen were good too, came out fast. Portions are decent for the price. Not the fanciest spot, but it's consistent, and that's honestly what keeps me coming back.

The cakes here are pretty good — moist, not too sweet. The guys behind the counter were friendly enough. Solid spot if you're nearby and want something with coffee. Just don't expect a fancy setup. Fine for a quick stop.

The red velvet cake was solid—moist, not overly sweet. Coffee did the job. Place was bright with big windows facing the square, which made it easy to sit for a bit. Service was quick enough for a weekday stop. Fine if you're in the area and need a break.

The brunch options are generous, and everything tasted great. However, the service could use some improvement, as I had to wait a bit longer for a high chair for my nephew.

Found this place trying to Google for good pancakes, 110% did not disappoint, coming back soon, the food and vibe were both so good. 10/10

The sourdough is decent and cheap, but the croissants and focaccia cost way more and taste just okay. Fine as a basic bakery stop.

Cozy spot with a nice bakery vibe. Had a quick coffee and it hit the spot. Good for a relaxed breakfast if you're in the area.
