We were directed to another restaurant just cross the street which belongs to the same owner - Amigo Steak restaurant. The steak was very nice, tender and juicy. We ordered lomo 500 gram for 2 person and it was enough. Empanadas was tasty - two medium size in a portion. Gambas was served with garlic mushroom sauce. It was fresh and the sauce was well-marinated. Tiramisu and frites are standard taste. Frisdranks are cold but the beer could be more colder.

Reasonable prices for what you get, and the location’s super handy. Service was quick too, which I didn’t expect around here.

The mussels in coconut milk broth were really good, and the portion felt generous for the price. I liked how fresh they tasted. The thick-cut fries weren't really my thing though. Still, a solid meal overall.

This place is a hidden gem! The combination of delicious food, stunning views, and friendly service makes it a must-visit. I can't wait to return for another delightful meal.

Restaurant in InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam

The sabich bagel here is seriously good. Creamy eggplant, hard egg, amba—all of it just works on that soft bagel. Place is tiny and always busy, but you grab it to go and eat in Vondelpark. That's the move. I'd skip the seating and just do that.

Shakshuka was solid. Rich sauce, good spice, bread came warm. Soaked up everything. Been here a few times now, still hits the same. Portion was decent for the price. Place was a bit busy but whatever.

Stopped by for a late brunch. Food was solid, got the eggs benedict and it hit the spot. Place is pretty big, sat outside which was nice. Staff were chill and didn't rush me. Decent spot if you're in the area and want something reliable.

Came in for a drink, stayed for the tenderloin. Cooked exactly how I asked, and the half chicken was properly juicy. Service took a minute to get their attention, but once we did, they were on it. Been here a few times now, and the kitchen stays consistent. That’s mainly why I keep coming back.

Nice patio seating. The focaccia was a highlight, especially with the olive oil. Paired it with a glass of their house red, which worked well. Prices are fair for the area. Solid spot for a casual evening.

Came here for the French themed evening with some friends and honestly the cheese board was the highlight 🧀 Wine pairing was on point too. Place got a bit noisy later but still a solid spot for a catch-up.

Food's solid but expect a wait. Took a while to get my order but it was worth it. Good spot for a quick bite if you're not in a rush.

Nice little spot, food came out fast and was solid. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot for a quick lunch. Prices are fair for what you get.

The staff here were super friendly, even pushed two tables together for our group without us asking. Food was fresh and tasty, prices felt fair for Amsterdam. I had the satay and it came out warm, peanut sauce was solid. Place got a bit busy around 7 but that’s fine. Would come back if I’m in the area.

Small place, but the food was solid and service friendly. We got the ribs and they were cooked just right. Only downside, tables are a bit close together.

The pastries are solid, but you pay for the experience of watching the bakers work. Prices aren't listed anywhere, which is a bit annoying. Good for a treat, not for a regular stop.

The rooftop garden got me. So much natural light pouring in, felt like eating outside but with actual chairs. Food's fresh, had a decent soup and watched people come and go. Place is big, never felt crowded. Just a nice spot to sit for a while.

Stopped by for a quiet break while walking around. The ginger cake was really good—moist, not too sweet. Staff left me alone, which I appreciated. Just wish the coffee was a bit stronger. Nice little spot if you need to sit down for a bit.

I had a fantastic time at this restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The cocktails were outstanding, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting.

Stumbled on this canal-side spot and grabbed a burger. Patty was handmade, cooked just right. 80s music playing in the background was a nice touch. 🍔

Stopped by for a quick lunch and had the pepper steak. Meat was tender, sauce had a nice kick. Portion came with a decent salad and fries, which I appreciated. The house mayo is honestly the star though. Service was quick, no complaints there. Place is small but comfy, good people-watching spot.

Stopped by for breakfast since they open early. Had the apple pie — proper Dutch style, warm and spiced, not overly sweet. Coffee was fine, nothing special. Service was quick enough. Place gets busy around 9, so grab a seat before that if you can. Decent spot if you're in the area and want something simple.

The homemade sandwiches are solid and the place feels like a proper local spot. Prices are fair too.

Decent pub, service was friendly enough. But honestly didn't feel very Irish to me. If you want the real trad atmosphere, probably look elsewhere.

Stopped by for a quick bite and a beer. Bitterballen were solid, crispy outside, hot inside. Apple pie was decent too. Place was packed, mixed crowd. Took a while to get served but whatever, the vibe made up for it. Good spot if you're not in a rush.

The bitterballen here were proper Dutch comfort food, crispy outside and gooey inside. Staff even suggested a beer that paired perfectly with them. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

Japanese breakfast was solid. Fish and rice cooked properly, miso had good depth. Staff noticed I was looking for the menu and brought it over before I asked. That kind of attention works for me. Place was quiet enough at 8am to actually enjoy the meal. Not cheap, but fair for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Nice spot for a casual drink by the water. The calamari and fries were solid, plus the canal view is a big win for a chill hangout.

Great as always! My go to place for a beer and some typical Dutch snacks ????????????????????????

The tomato soup was really good, fresh and full of flavor. Wish they'd offered some bread on the side though. Service was a bit slow.

The walnut cream and egg bagel was really good, I’m glad I tried it. The tonic tea was a nice switch from my usual coffee too. Place was pretty chill for a quick catch-up with a friend, not too loud. Maybe a bit small inside but we managed fine. Would come back if I’m in the area again 😊
