Nice spot right on the canal. Got the burger and fries, hit the spot. Service was quick even though it was packed. Solid for a lunch stop.

As always, the food and drinks were very yummy, and the staff was friendly and helpful.I always have a hard time choosing, because everything on the menu looks so good :)

The 4-course menu was really flavorful, and we had storks walking around while we ate. Staff clearly knew their stuff. Just wish the courses came out a bit faster.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the vibe was perfect for catching up. Food was solid, we ordered a few things to share and everything came out quick. Only thing is it’s pretty dark inside, like hard to see the menu dark 😅 but kinda cozy too. Would come back if we’re in the area again.

Salads are always fresh here, that's why I keep coming back. Lunch gets busy though, so expect a short wait. Try to hit it before 12 or after 1:30.

The avocado bagel was good, but sitting near that open door got chilly. Staff seemed off after we asked to close it.

The terrace is perfect for people-watching, honestly such a cute spot. Service dragged a bit but the pastries made up for it 😅

Good food and location next to the pier is beautiful. We ordered some tapas, like garlic gambas, potatoes, lamb with yogurt sauce and eggplant, hummus etc.

The apple pie alone is worth stopping in for. Warm, buttery crust, not too sweet inside. Had a steak too, that was decent, but honestly the pie stole the whole show. Prices are fair for Amsterdam.

The mango coconut macaroon cake was lovely, and I appreciated the comfortable seating. Iced latte could've been stronger though.

The protein wrap was surprisingly filling for something that’s supposed to be healthy. I grabbed a seat near the window and the light made the whole place feel more open. Kids liked the desserts too, which never happens. Just wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable, my back started to feel it after a while.

Service was excellent. Very friendly and clear. We assumed a carpaccio xl alternative to regular carpaccio meant the regular was small. But the xxl carpaccio was actually huge! Good quality meat, seemed freshly grinded of a block onsite. Properly furnished low on cheese and balsamic but allot of roasted seeds. Very good!Vitello tonato was served on toast. If the portion was doubled it would be good for a lunch option. For dinner starters its too small. Quality was excellent! Toast complemented the veal and thick tuna cut well. Entrecote was clearly a decent cut, well prepared and tastefull. Alongside minimal additions to our amazement. Waiter declared a 5 euro survharge on top of menu price if a fork discount was applied due to the sise of the dish. We accepted but serving was small. Other dishes also had a surcharge making a 50% discount a 30% discount.

Nice pub with a canal-side terrace, good spot to just sit and chill. Food was decent, staff friendly. Room a bit small but fine for one night.

Stopped by for lunch after a walk and grabbed the smoked salmon salad. Really liked it, fresh and filling. Table had some crumbs when I sat down, but they wiped it off straight away. Staff were nice about it too. Good enough for a casual stop.

Thank you for the great welcome in such difficult times. It is an Amazing place, friendly staff and delicious food! We will definitely come back.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying a few hours. WiFi was solid enough to get some stuff done. Flat white was good, food looked decent too. Staff were friendly, didn't rush me. Prices fair for the area. Nothing fancy but does the job.

The poke bowls here are consistently fresh. I had the vegan one with aubergine and beetroot—surprisingly decent, well-balanced flavors. Portion size was fair for the price. Service was quick, which I appreciated since I was on a short lunch break. Not a fancy spot, but it does the job if you're in the area and want something light.

A superb 5 course menu on Christmas day. The staff were excellent and very friendly. Would 100% recommend and will hopefully return some day in the future.

The tasting menu really delivered. Every plate felt like it had a purpose, nothing thrown together. The sommelier knew their stuff too, picked wines that actually matched the food. Service was sharp without hovering over us. Only tiny gripe, pacing got a bit slow near the end. But honestly, that's a minor thing when the food's this good.

The sabich bagel here is seriously good. Creamy eggplant, hard egg, amba—all of it just works on that soft bagel. Place is tiny and always busy, but you grab it to go and eat in Vondelpark. That's the move. I'd skip the seating and just do that.

Shakshuka was solid. Rich sauce, good spice, bread came warm. Soaked up everything. Been here a few times now, still hits the same. Portion was decent for the price. Place was a bit busy but whatever.

The service was excellent. We got great suggestions. Was served a very good wine. The kitchen made us a portion of rice which wasn’t in the menu. Amazing quality for money

The chicken satay fries were spot on, crispy with plenty of peanut sauce. A bit pricey for late night, but it works.

Butter chicken and garlic naan were solid, portions big enough to share. Price felt right for what you get. Place gets busy around 7, so come early if you want a quiet table.

Came in for a drink, stayed for the tenderloin. Cooked exactly how I asked, and the half chicken was properly juicy. Service took a minute to get their attention, but once we did, they were on it. Been here a few times now, and the kitchen stays consistent. That’s mainly why I keep coming back.

The shrimp croquettes were spot on, crispy and tasty. Steak was okay, but that plain bread felt random.

I highly recommend this place for its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere; the salmon was particularly outstanding!

great option.. would be nice if the fork deal for yums exchange could be applied to the entire menu and not just the set menu. the taste of all the items was great nonetheless. lots of great variety and classic flavours. obviously a higher end restaurant based on pricing but quality is great!
