We stopped by for a quick drink and ended up staying longer than planned. The bitterballen were decent, crispy outside and warm inside. Cheese sticks were fine too. Service was pretty good, no complaints. Terrace was full but we found a spot inside without waiting. Fine for a casual evening.

Good all-you-can-eat spot in De Pijp. Sushi was decent and lots of options to pick from. Not the cheapest but fair for what you get. Just keep in mind nigiri costs extra. 😅

Grand Café Restaurant De Dijk, nestled in the charming seaside town of Volendam, offers a dining experience that uniquely captures the essence of its coastal setting. The atmosphere at De Dijk is its standout feature, where the breezy, salty air mixes with a quaint, inviting decor, allowing diners to immerse themselves in the serene vibes of the sea just steps away. While the menu presents a satisfactory selection of dishes that are well-prepared, it somewhat misses the opportunity to fully embrace its maritime locale with a wider variety of seafood options. A few additional dishes celebrating local catches would certainly enhance the culinary experience, aligning it more closely with the restaurant’s prime setting by the water.Service at De Dijk, however, is commendable. Staff members are consistently upbeat and attentive, contributing positively to the overall dining atmosphere. Their friendly demeanor and prompt service ensure a pleasant visit for guests looking to enjoy a meal in this picturesque location.Overall, Grand Café Restaurant De Dijk offers a memorable dining experience mainly through its unique setting by the sea and the warm service provided. A slight rethinking of the menu to include more seafood specialties could potentially elevate the establishment to new heights, perfectly complementing the wonderful atmosphere and service.

Came here on a weekday morning, not too crowded. The cappuccino was solid, and I grabbed one of their homemade pastries to go with it. Pastry was still warm, honestly the highlight. Service took a minute since it got busier, but I didn't mind. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

Solid all-you-can-eat sushi place by the Q-park, right off tram 5. The 5 rounds of 4 dishes is plenty, honestly. Quality was decent for what you pay. Service moved fast, no waiting around. For the price, you get a lot of food.

Decent coffee spot. Got busy around lunch though, barely found a seat. Fine for a quick catch-up.

The hot anise drink is a hidden gem, and the tea selection is tasteful. The staff are always welcoming, and there's always something new and healthy to try.

Lovely little spot in Zwolle. The homemade cakes are fresh and not too sweet, which I really appreciate. Coffee pairs well with them.

Decent spot for a casual lunch. Food was pretty good and the terrace is nice. Staff friendly enough. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger.

The soup menu’s written right on the wall, which I thought was a cool touch. I grabbed the tom yum and it was properly spicy, just how I like it. The metal chairs are a bit hard if you stay long, but the place looks fresh and modern. Wouldn’t mind going back to try another one.

Stopped by for a late afternoon drink and ended up staying longer than planned. The barista actually remembered my usual order from last month—that never gets old. Had a solid red blend that paired nicely with their cheese plate. Place gets a bit noisy around 5pm though. Still, it's my go-to spot when I want a proper glass without the fuss.
