Solid brunch spot. Pancakes were decent, granola was good too. Cinnamon bun warmed up was the standout. Menu has enough variety between sweet and savory. Service was efficient, no complaints there. Place was busy but we got seated quick. Fine for a casual weekend breakfast, nothing fancy but does the job.

Been coming here for a while now, and the seafood trio is still my go-to. Bitterballen were good too, came out fast. Portions are decent for the price. Not the fanciest spot, but it's consistent, and that's honestly what keeps me coming back.

The staff was really nice about adapting a main dish to vegan for me. Didn't feel like a hassle at all, just a quick "no problem". Portion was decent for the price, I left full. Can't ask for much more than that.

The cakes here are pretty good — moist, not too sweet. The guys behind the counter were friendly enough. Solid spot if you're nearby and want something with coffee. Just don't expect a fancy setup. Fine for a quick stop.

The Chicken BLT sandwich was the highlight. Generous portion, decent bread, bacon actually crispy. Staff fine, whatever. Just get the sandwich.

Walked in not knowing what to pick and the bartender just brought me something hoppy and cold. Menu’s huge, like a book almost. I only tried one beer but it was solid. Place feels chill, not too loud for a Thursday. Would go back to work through more of that list.

Came here with three friends for dinner. Food was decent, service friendly enough. Bill came out fair for what we got. Nothing fancy but I'd go back.

The red velvet cake was solid—moist, not overly sweet. Coffee did the job. Place was bright with big windows facing the square, which made it easy to sit for a bit. Service was quick enough for a weekday stop. Fine if you're in the area and need a break.

The brunch options are generous, and everything tasted great. However, the service could use some improvement, as I had to wait a bit longer for a high chair for my nephew.

Found this place trying to Google for good pancakes, 110% did not disappoint, coming back soon, the food and vibe were both so good. 10/10

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed their pasta special. Portion was honestly bigger than I expected for the price, which is rare around here. Food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but you definitely get your money's worth. The place has that old-school dim lighting thing going on, kinda cozy. Staff was friendly enough. Would come back if I'm in the area and hungry again.

The sourdough is decent and cheap, but the croissants and focaccia cost way more and taste just okay. Fine as a basic bakery stop.

Cozy spot with a nice bakery vibe. Had a quick coffee and it hit the spot. Good for a relaxed breakfast if you're in the area.

The staff handled our group so well, even with kids in tow. They made scrambled eggs off-menu without a fuss and stayed patient the whole time. The little keychain at the end was a nice touch.

Stopped by for a drink on Friday night. Cocktails were solid, nothing crazy but decent. Bartender was friendly, made the place feel easygoing. Didn't eat so can't say much about the food. Fine for a quick drink after work, though it did get a bit busy later.

The oysters were properly cold and tasted like the sea, not too briny. Fried mix had a good kick to it. Small place, tables are a bit close together but the vibe is relaxed enough that you don't mind. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

Early Sunday brunch spot! Got the Florentine, the spinach was so garlicky and the bread was thick and perfect for soaking it all up. Just what I needed to start the day.

Stopped in around 4pm and they were still serving lunch. Food was decent, prices fair. Place looks nothing special from outside but it worked.

Stopped in for a drink and some bitterballen—those were properly crispy, nice with a beer. Cozy little brown cafe right on the canal, very local vibe. Staff was friendly enough, didn't rush us. Could sit and watch the boats all afternoon honestly. Just a solid spot to chill.

Such a lovely dinner! The staff was attentive, polite and friendly. The restaurant is cozy, loved the decor and was pleasantly surprised that it was full on Monday evening. They have plenty of options food wise and really good Italian wines and overall a good selection of drinks, alcoholic or nonalcoholic. We ate everything and have nothing negative to say about any of the dishes. The pulpo ragu was amazing, we also had some antipasto with quality meats and cheeses. We had a really good time and would recommend it!

Cozy little place. Sourdough French toast was something else, really good. Staff were friendly too. Maybe a bit busy but fine. Would go back for that toast alone.

The apple tart really was the highlight. Flaky, warm, not too sweet. Coffee was solid too. Sat by the window watching the canal, place felt airy and calm. Interior’s quite big, so even with people around it didn’t feel cramped. Just wish they’d come by to refill water a bit sooner.

The scones here are proper — still warm, with that clotted cream and jam combo that just works. Coffee’s decent too, nothing fancy but fine. Place has this quiet, unhurried feel to it, which I liked. Prices fair for what you get. Just wish they had a bit more seating, it got crowded fast.

We had a party of 5. The food was great and the wine as well. The restaurant is in a good location and the service was great. Will go again.

Came here for a beer and ended up trying the burger. It was a bit soft, kind of fell apart while I was eating it. Fries were fine though. The terrace is nice for sitting outside. Probably better for drinks than a full meal.

The oyster mushroom rendang at the museum cafe was properly tasty. Coconut lime macaroon finished it off well. Waitress was friendly, even gave tips about the museum. Bit pricey for what you get, but decent.

Stopped by for lunch after getting off the train at Amstelstation—super convenient. Grilled beef tenderloin was cooked nicely, and the oysters tasted fresh. Staff were young and friendly, though it took a bit to get the bill. Solid pick if you're in the area.

Food was decent, portions generous. Good plating too. Only downside was the noise — crowd plus smokers right by the entrance. Toilets clean, though the door handles could use some fixing.

Coffee’s solid and pastries were fresh when I stopped by. Place gets packed but that buzz kinda adds to it. Managed to grab a seat, lucky me.
