Came here after seeing some old bad reviews. Honestly? Fine. Abd at the counter was friendly, proper smile. Service seems way better now than what people wrote before. Had a decent meal, nothing crazy but solid. Maybe they fixed the issues.

The falafel salad came without the hummus and babaganoush until I flagged it down. Cucumbers were a bit soggy too. They did offer a free drink to make up for it though, which was decent of them. Not the best visit, but I've had worse here. Probably give it another go next time.

Tried the spinach and feta phyllo. Really good. The sweet cheese one was nice too. Big windows by the Amstel, loads of morning light. Solid spot.

Stopped by for a few beers last week. Classic brown café vibe, nothing fancy, but the place just works. Bartender knew his stuff, helped me pick something local I hadn't tried before. Solid spot if you want an honest drink without the noise. Wish they had a bit more variety by the glass though.

Lovely restaurant with a quiet, luxurious setting. Food is great and value for money. Speed of food being served was good, but waiter was a little slow, especially seeing that the restaurant was not busy. But overall very satisfactory and highly recommended.

Came here on a quiet afternoon, grabbed a seat by the window. Carrot cake was solid—moist, not too sweet, good with coffee. Tarts looked nice too, though I only tried the lemon one. Place has decent light and room to just sit around. Fine spot if you're in the area.
