The broth was really good—clear and full of flavor. Chicken pho hit the spot on a cold day, though the portion could've been a bit bigger for the price.

The carpaccio was spot on—fresh and well-seasoned. Server Berra handled everything quick and friendly. Just heads up, kitchen shuts down at 9:30, so don't show up late.

The buckwheat loaf was a solid pick—dense and nutty, just how I like it. Would’ve loved a glass of something crisp to go with it, but they only do bread. Selection gets thin by late afternoon, so get there early.

The coffee was solid and the space itself is really well designed — lots of natural light and enough outlets to actually get stuff done. Only downside: those wooden benches are pretty high, not the most comfortable for sitting long. But for a quick work session it works fine.

Nice little spot for drinks, nothing fancy. Staff were friendly and the location's easy to get to. Didn't try the food but it looked decent from where we sat.

Friendly greeting. Good service. Steak was cooked perfectly as requested. Thanks. Will be back. Really enjoyed our dinner

The sushi was really fresh, and the rolls had some creative twists I haven't seen elsewhere in Amsterdam. Glad I gave it a shot.

Came here on a sunny afternoon, grabbed a table outside. The fish was properly cooked, flaky and fresh. Not cheap, but you're paying for the view too. I'd say it's worth it if you're in the area. Service was fine, nothing to complain about.

The cappuccino was solid and the price is fair for what you get. Fresh ingredients, decent portion sizes. My friend's chocolate milk looked even better than my coffee though.

Came for a drink, stayed way longer than planned. Staff remembers you after a couple visits, which I like. Live music nights can get busy but it's got that proper local feel.

Stopped by for a coffee and a sandwich the other day. Baked goods looked decent too. Coffee was solid, no complaints. Handy spot if you're in the area and need something quick. Not gonna blow your mind, but it does the job. Prices are fair for what you get.

The veggie burger here was actually really good—came with a decent amount of fries too. Staff were friendly and seemed genuinely into what they were doing. Sat outside, which was nice since the weather cooperated. Only thing is it's a bit on the pricier side for a casual lunch, but I'd probably come back anyway.

The Iberico was stupid tender. Juicy too. Would order that again for sure. Service was friendly, didn't have to wait long for anything. Place was busy but we got a table easy enough. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Second time around was way better - that sandwich really hit the spot. Lovely setting but the service felt a bit all over the place with so many waitresses around.

This restaurant was a great experience in a unique setting. We took the seven-course surprise menu with matching wines, and we didn't regret it for a second. From aperitif to dessert: top. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly and quick even when it got busy. Pizza was decent, though the dough wasn't quite what I'm used to. Fine for what we paid, nothing more.

We ordered the ribeye and the truffle pasta. Portion was decent for the price, honestly. The pasta had a good amount of truffle shavings, not just a hint. My only gripe? The waiter barely looked at us, while the table next door got the full friendly treatment. Food saved the night though.

The Vierhouten Steak is still my go-to here. Cooked right, decent portion, no fuss. Place looks nice too, they clearly put some effort into the interior. Staff was friendly enough, didn't have to wait long for the bill. Solid neighborhood spot, I'll keep coming back when I don't feel like cooking.

The thatched roof and wooden interior really make this place stand out. Cozy in a way that feels genuinely Dutch, not touristy. Food prices are fair for what you get. Hot drinks are a bit steep though, which caught me off guard. I had the stamppot and it hit the spot on a cold afternoon. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The beef Wellington was decent, but honestly for the price I expected a bigger portion. Wine list had a few nice picks though. The terrine was a bit off, could've used more sweetness. Menu looks interesting but I'm not sure I'd rush back given what we paid. Maybe try it once if you're curious.

Food was solid and the staff were nice. Portions felt fair for what you pay. Nothing fancy but I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

We stopped by for a late lunch, and I was really impressed with how fresh the fish tasted. I had the grilled cod, and it was flaky, light, not oily at all. The vegetables on the side were properly seasoned, which I appreciate. Portions are decent for the price. Just a heads up, it can get a bit busy around 1pm, so you might wait a few minutes. But the food makes it worth it.

We went for the monthly menu, and honestly, it’s good value for what you get. Dishes were put together well, nothing overly fancy but solid. Staff was friendly enough, didn’t have to wait too long. It’s the kind of place you can pop into for a proper dinner without spending a fortune. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now. The pistachio is still the one I keep going back to. Prices are fair for the neighbourhood, service is quick enough. Solid spot.

Best burger in Amsterdam - and tap your own beer on some tables! Try the Smash burger - its a classic take on your childhood favourite cheeseburger.

Went twice in a month. First time service was really slow, took like 30 mins. Food was solid though, cheap too. Second visit on a weekday went much smoother. Fine for budget seafood, just don't come when it's busy.

Definitely one of the cosiest 1 Michelin star restaurants that I have been to. The young waiters were patient and polite. The food was refined and generous - pleasant surprise to have a plate served with a generous serving of crab meat as well as caviar which was served with another dish. Look forward to returning. Loenen aan de Vecht is a very charming village for an after dinner walk.

Came here on a sunny afternoon with a couple of friends, and honestly the sand area was the highlight. We just sat back while some kids were playing nearby, no rush at all. Service was friendly, didn’t have to wait long for drinks. Place is simple but it works for a chill hangout. Wouldn’t mind coming back again 😊

The cafe’s got this bright, airy vibe with high ceilings and tons of natural light. Espresso was solid, though it came out pretty hot — had to wait a bit before sipping. Still, nice spot to just sit and watch the street for a while.

Despite a bit of a wait, the food was worth it! The service was pleasant, and the overall experience was enjoyable.
