Stumbled into this place in Lelystad without expecting much. Chef clearly cares about what goes on the plate. Had the daily special, simple but well executed. Room feels casual, not stuffy. Prices fair for what you get. Service was a bit slow but they were busy. Fine by me. Would eat here again.

The food was amazing and the wine was extraordinary, but unfortunately the evening turned into a terrible experience because of a serious allergy issue. My girlfriend has a severe nut allergy. I informed the restaurant by email a week in advance and clearly asked them to exclude any nuts, seeds, or traces of nuts from her dishes. The first three courses were great, but when the fourth course arrived, my girlfriend’s lips started itching, followed by her mouth. We immediately asked what was in the dish, and the chef/founder, Corrie Hop, told us it contained pine nuts (Pijnboompitten). My girlfriend panicked. Luckily, one of the staff members had antihistamine pills, which helped calm things down a bit, but soon after she had to run to the toilet and vomit because the allergic reaction got worse and would not stop. The staff did try to help, and I appreciate that, but it was still a horrible situation. I was left sitting there worried and hoping the reaction would not become more serious. What made it worse was the explanation afterwards: even though they had read my email in advance, they said pine nuts (Pijnboompitten) are not “nuts” but kernels/seeds (pitten), and that next time I should specifically mention they also need to exclude kernels as well. I found that response very disappointing, especially after I had already warned them clearly about the allergy. In the end, I still had to pay more than €200+ for an evening that ended in stress, sickness, and disappointment. Food and wine were excellent, but allergy awareness and responsibility were not.

The self-service setup is handy, and I liked that there were fresh salads and sandwiches. Sat on the terrace with a nice view over the harbor. Good spot to relax after shopping.

Celebrated our 25th here, Joel and the team really looked after us. Solid spot for lunch or dinner.

The braised pork belly was the standout. Soft, fatty, sweet-savory glaze that actually stuck to the meat. Had it with rice and that was it. Place is hidden next to a hotel, easy to miss, but who cares. Just go for that dish. Maybe a bit pricey for the portion, but the flavor did the talking.

Sirloin steak was properly cooked, tender and juicy. Dessert stole the show though. Veggies were just okay, nothing special. Solid spot if you're in Lelystad.

The sushi was decent—fresh enough and cut properly. I had the teriyaki too, sauce was a bit heavy for my taste, but overall fine. Place wasn't too busy on a weekday evening, which I liked. Pretty good if you're in the area and want a simple Japanese fix.

Solid stop right off the A6. Food was fresh and service quick, even at lunch rush. Staff friendly enough. Fine for a pit stop.

Full rack of ribs with fries hit the spot. Chipotle sauce had that sweet-heat thing going on. Fries were solid too. Staff came by to check if I wanted more ribs. Quick in and out for lunch.

Been coming here for a while now. The peshawari naan is still the one I keep ordering, honestly it's almost a meal by itself. Quality's stayed consistent.

Food’s solid for a quick stop—got the burger and it hit the spot. Service was quick, no fuss. Parking’s easy too, which is a plus around here.

This place is a must-visit for anyone in Amsterdam! The fries are fresh and tasty, and the variety of sauces available really enhances the experience.

The atmosphere is nice, and the service was friendly. I had a delicious steak with matching gravy that was to die for!

Our dinner at The Seafood Bar was delightful! The service was fast and friendly, and the seafood was fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great seafood meal in Amsterdam.
