The Samui Prawns were the star for me. Really fresh, cooked just right so they were still juicy. The flavour was spot on. That dish alone made the visit worthwhile.

Been coming here for years. Always get the same thing, and it’s always spot on. Quick, tasty, and the staff are sound. My go-to for a reliable lunch.

Perfect for a big group - our table of 20 was handled well. The kebbeh was crispy and the chicken was juicy. Portions are huge.

The wine list really complements the cosy, relaxed vibe here.

Perfect for a quick lunch. The bento box had a good mix of items, really filling. Price is fair and straightforward. Got my order in under 10 minutes.

Service was really attentive on our Friday night. They kept checking in even when the place got packed later on. Water glasses were never empty.

Been coming here for years, and the coffee's always spot on. That's what keeps me coming back – you know exactly what you're getting. The staff are lovely to see every day, too.

The chicken tikka bhuna was so good, really flavourful and rich. My friends and I kept sharing it from the middle of the table, perfect for a group. Would definitely get it next time we're here.

A nice old-school spot. The owner is lovely and the food is pretty good. The retro decor and mix of people give it a decent, cosy feel. A solid choice for a simple meal.

The salmon teriyaki donburi was pretty good. Portions are decent, the sushi rolls are quite generous. Found the eel nigiri a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was fine overall.

Lovely little independent spot. The coffee was really good, proper strong. I liked that you could sit outside on the pavement or tuck into a cosy corner inside. Just the right kind of pause in a busy day.

Friendly family-run spot. Staff are consistently pleasant and attentive, which makes a difference.

First time trying their fish and chips. The batter was super crispy, not greasy at all. Different vibe from the old-school chippies, but I liked it. Portion was decent for the price.

The chicken shish here is top-tier for Eastbourne. What really got me was the homemade chilli sauce - so fresh and tangy, I ended up asking for an extra little pot of it. A proper find!

Been coming to Hastings for years, and the presentation here really stood out. The flavours were spot on. A nice glass of red was the perfect match for the rich main course. Service was top-notch too.

Looks a bit rough from the outside, but it's a proper old pub inside. They've got a good few beers on, even some of their own. Decent spot for a quiet pint.

Been coming here for years. Staff are always friendly and quick to help. Last time we asked to move from a draughty table, they sorted it straight away, no fuss. Makes a difference.

Service was a real highlight. The staff were so attentive and friendly, with a great sense of humour. They made our large group feel really well looked after.

Went on a Tuesday, still had a nice buzz. Nothing fancy, just really good food. The lamb chops were spot on, cooked just right. Honestly, the best bit of my week so far.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. Staff remember you, never feel rushed. That's what keeps me coming back.

Booked a table for a group of us and the staff were so helpful with spacing us out. The sharing platter was a hit, perfect for passing around and chatting. Definitely need to book ahead though, it gets busy!

The chicken pad kra pow was pretty good. Decent amount of meat, and the chili garlic sauce had a nice kick to it. A solid choice for a quick lunch.

The fish was cooked fresh to order, which was nice. It had a lovely flaky texture and the batter was light and crisp. A solid choice, though the portion felt a touch small for the price.

Great selection of drinks here, and the snacks are solid. I was pleased to see some organic choices. The wine list is decent for the price point, though a few more by-the-glass options would be nice. Overall, good value for what you get.

Popped in for a coffee and a croissant. Ended up just watching the bakers knead dough through the window for ages. So relaxing. The croissant was buttery and flaky, perfect with a flat white. A nice little escape.
